04/17/2023These tights are very high quality and last a very long time. They are soft and flattering. The waist band has a good amount of stretch to it. Which I love because it makes for a smooth fit under any leotard.

Oxnard,CAThese tights are both flattering and comfortable! I really feel I can move to my ability and they make you along-ate. They are very true to size and are quite durable! Easy to wash and I highly recommend. The colors are a little confusing but theatrical pink is the white look for ballet while ballet pink is more pink and regular pink is very very pink! The colors confused me a bit but other than that I definitely recommend!

03/07/2022These tights are very durable and look good on. However my daughter is VERY muscular in the thighs so the tights do not provide enough stretch to be comfortable. She has to "break them in" before she can wear them comfortably.

Winchester,VAThey are extremely soft and quite pretty, but if you want to roll up the tights for pointe shoes they don't roll well. They are slip off when folded at the ankle. If you fold them higher to your calf, they stay nicely though. If you don't roll them up at all, these are very nice and comfy tights and I highly recommend them.

11/08/2017I love these tights! It is important to understand color and size with these though. I am 5 foot 8 with long, fairly skinny legs and a medium length torso. I wear a large or a tall. The large and tall fit pretty much the same in terms of the leg, the taller has a titch more fabric lengthwise. The big difference is that the tall is longer from crotch to waistband, hitting me mid-low ribcage, while the large hit me around my waist. I like the large better because it flatters my figure more, however if you don't like the waistband cinching you in a little, go for the tall. In terms of color, theatrical pink matches Russians, Grishkos and other lighter colored pointe shoes best. Ballet pink is quite peachy and matches Capezio and Freeds better. However I would say that if you are in between colors, go for theatrical pink as it is more common among dancers and most companies use this color. Neither of the two wash out to be a grey color, unlike Capezio tights. These tights will snag, as any tights do, but they don't run once there is a hole in them, as long as you don't pull on it a lot. I think the seams are very flattering and are good for checking turn out. overall good tights with a good longevity!

10/23/2015My 10 yr old daughter received a couple pair as a gift from her ballet teacher - she loved them so I ordered more. The leg length is fine as she is a long-legged 5'1". The tights go all the way up to her rib cage but the elastic and fabric are soft and comfortable.

10/11/2015These are my favorite mesh seamed ballet tights. They are very comfortable and the waistband is not constricting like other brands. They are durable but maybe don't hold up as well as other tights. The comfort is definitely worth it though. I have used these tights for several years. Make sure you are getting the color that you want. The "theatrical pink" is the lighter pink color. The "classical ballet pink" is a more salmon color tight.

07/26/2015I cannot say enough about these tights- they are durable, comfortable, fit true to size, and seem to last forever. I ordered the tights in theatrical pink and black and they both fit me true to size. There were several times that I thought they would have ripped but they didn't unlike other tights. I love the back seam because it makes my legs look longer. They are high waisted (which I like because it has a more slimming effect), but you can always roll them down if that bothers you.

06/27/2015I did not like these tights. When I first got them, I could pull the waistband over my head (5'6). After sitting on the marley floor during Nutcracker rehearsal, they were covered in lint!!! I was in Waltz of the flowers, and after I got out of rehearsal(2 1/2 hours) They were bagging and looked like shapeless socks. The tights got a HUGE run in them. The color is hideous. My African American friend and I both had them, And you could see straight through. I WOULD NOT GET THESE. Save your money and buy Capezio professional mesh seamed instead.

05/06/2015I liked these mostly for the price; seamed mesh tights and typically expensive and these were a little less so. The waist is very, very high like others mentioned but I can just roll it a few times. The quality and color of theatrical pink is really nice.

05/01/2015I love these tights and so far they have held up well. However, I haven't had them very long so I can't attest to their durability yet. I loooved the theatrical pink color, very cotton candy pink but not too bright. I have warm skin tone so I loved it. Thet.Pink may be too pinky for others who like a more peachy tone or white-pink instead. I think the seams are great and the tights are surprisingly more opaque than I would have thought. I love that I can wear them and not feel naked if I don't have a skirt or shorts over my leo unlike some of my now washed out capezios. The only thing I would say is that if you're short or have short legs and are not intending to wear them up to your high waist beware. They are definitely made to go up to your bust line anyway but if your short they are way up there. I don't mind wearing them kind of bunched up on my waist over my leo for classes though and if I needed tights for a performance where the high waist was necessary I think they would be great!

03/22/2015I have seen many dancers at my studio use these tights. i personally love the look of them. however make sure you order THEATRICAL PINK not ballet pink because ballet pink has a weird salmon orange color. theatrical pink is capezios ballet pink. any ways, i am 5'4, 117 lbs., with long legs. according to the size chart i would be a medium. the leg length itself was good, but from crotch to waistband is far too long, so i roll them down, but it looks bulky. trying to get the back seam straight is a pain. these are really soft but get sticky after a while especially when your hot. you dont feel the seam and these hardly rip unlike the capezios.

01/05/2015Unfortunately there is just nothing about these tights that is wonderful. But alas, one must do what one is told when it comes to performances and such. I used to buy the regular total stretch tights for shows but now I dance for a company that requires backseamed tights. You can read my review of the others on that page. I found these the same in fit only more constricting, if it be possible. They were VERY itchy on the first wear so please do yourself a favor and wash them before you try to scratch around the studio and stage. I am really sad to se the procut III going out and I hope they will bring them back. The reason being the heel. Anyone who has to wear backseam tights knows the discomfort of a seam running over your heel. I had never had to wear them before and I put them on and I was like "Really? Can we please make dance more uncomfortable?" Fit: I am 5'9" 120lbs and buy the Tall. The waistband will cut your stomach in half and help you hold your ribs together, cause thats how far up they go. Nevertheless, I will continue wearing and buying these torturous tights, though I beseech the world of tights manufacturers to take pity on the suffering community of hardworking ballerinas.

12/27/2014I purchased these tights because I was required to wear them for performances, but now I wear them on a daily basis! They aren't perfect, but they are definitely great tights.
PROS:
-shows muscle definition better than any other pair of tights I've had.
-comfortable waist band (no awkward tights line)
- I've never had runs or pulls after 2 years!
CONS:
-very long, depending on torso length, you might have to roll it down.
- a bit stiff the first time you wear them, but not for long.

11/20/2014My daughter has used these for years and loves them. They don't run easily, and they hold up well through many washings. The theatrical pink is perfect...not too pink, not too light. Great value, great tights!

10/12/2014We're required to get these for our studio performances and there's quite a bit I am disappointed with about these tights. I don't have long legs and the legs are short on me which has caused holes in the crotch on almost every pair I own. The torso part of them is however extremely long and loose. I ended up finally trying a size Tall which was slightly better and could at least do the splits without ripping a hole in them. Basically these tights are very awkward to wear and I wish they would make them more proportional.

08/08/2014I love these tights! Because they are available in a Tall, they are more durable and less likely to rip due to stretching because of my height. They are more comfortable than other mesh tights I have used. The ballet pink looks great on darker skin as well. I would definitely recommend these to a friend! They fit true to size.

02/13/2014These tights are OK. The thing I don't like most about them is the material. They feel tight. They come up VERY high! I got an adult small and these are the BIGGEST tights I ever had! If you like tights that come up really high and feel tight, these are PERFECT for you!

10/13/2013Lol, I used to think people bought seamed/mesh tights just to be a cool cat. Well I bit the bullet and ordered some and, well, call me converted. I can't believe I've worn these for two months at a rate of 3 classes/wk and they are still in perfect shape!! Maybe that is normal for other people, but I used to get the regular Bodywrappers tights and I would sometimes get runs in those the moment I put them on lol.
The only thing I don't like is the waistband. I usually get body tights because if the waistband is too tight I sometimes have to adjust it during class, but they don't sell mesh body tights (womp womp). It's not as bad as Capezio's waistband, but sometimes I have to pull it up a lil.
As others have mentioned, these are quite tall, and I can pull them all the way over my boobs lol.

08/15/2013I absolutely love these tights. They last forever -- its so hard for them to snag, even by velcro. I actually like both the theatrical pink and the ballet pink; the ballet pink is very pink, but it's really pretty with a black leotard. I'm 5'3" and they are certainly long, but I still wear them. They also make your legs look really pretty! Definitely recommend!!

08/13/2013One of my teachers recommended buying these tights. I'm so glad she did because I LOVE them. I'm 5'4 and buy these in a small and they fit perfectly. I have them in theatrical pink, which is the best color. Go buy these tights!

07/14/2013The seam on these tights makes my legs look longer and the mesh material is very durable. However, if you are thinking about ordering these tights, ORDER THEATRICAL PINK! I got the classic pink and it's this strange neon salmon color. You know that one girl in class with the awkward tights that are way pinker than everyone else's? Yeah, that was me. My friend has these in theatrical pink and they look so much nicer. Overall, I strongly recommend these, as they are durable, comfortable and flattering--but please make the world a prettier place and order theatrical pink instead of classic pink.

12/26/2012I have bought several pairs of these tights for my daughter for class and performances. They do run very long as other reviewers have stated, however I would rather them be too long than too short. I think the theatrical pink is a much nicer color than the ballet pink, which looks quite peachy-orange to me. My main complaint is that the last few pairs I've bought didn't seem to hold up well and one pair got a huge snag in them around the thigh the first time she put them on. I have bought less expensive tights that held up much better and will be looking for an alternative to these next time I need to order tights.

10/07/2012Capezio tights are required for my studio but I'm 5'7" and they are too short!!! I've been wearing these forever, and they are very durable and super comfy! Also, the color is very close to the capezio's. I love them, and don't wear anything else!!

08/20/2012So these were OK. They were really durable and never tore or ran, but they are not very comfortable. I wish that Capezio made seamed tights because normally I would only wear Capezio. But I heard that seamed tights make your calves look bigger, and they definitely do!

07/01/2012I love these tights!!! They are really comfortable and look really great! Most of my fellow dancers wear these tights, and everyone looks great in them! They hardly rip; I've gotten several pairs and most of them have only minimal if none rips/tears in them. My only criticism is that the pink ones are VERY pink! You might have to bleach them before you wear them to get out some of the color.

06/07/2012Very opaque for mesh, also very strong. So far the only thing I've had snag these tights was Velcro. Surprisingly, they didn't run. Reasonably comfortable for seamed tights, but only moderately stretchy around. All the stretch seems to be in the length. They are ridiculously long. I'm 5'2" and the waist of the adult small comes up to my armpits and I have an extra 8 inches to fold under the soles of my feet! I tried the child large, which is better, but still very high in the waist and a little baggy in the ankles. That said, they are still my favorite tights because I like the way they make my legs look and the ballet pink color (very peachy, matches Freed and Gaynor Minden pointe shoes but looks a little weird with my Grishko technique shoes).

05/10/2012I bought these tights, because Discount Dance no longer seems to carry the wonderful and comfortable Bloch Endura Seamed Convertible tights any more. The Body Wrappers "total stretch" tights were awful. They have very little actual stretch. They ripped on the first wearing right in the crotch. The fabric feels scratchy. The convertible hole isn't big enough to fit one's foot through. I can't believe any one actually buys these horrible tights more than once, they are so shoddy and the fabric is junk. The color is ugly too. I am tall, 5'11", and Body Wrappers must think 5'5" is tall, because I almost could not pull these tights up enough to wear to class. I will never buy these tights again.

04/06/2012These are my absolute favourite pair of tights. The rise of the waist band is pretty high, which I love, because it doesn't dig in to your waist and you don't get any 'muffin top' action like with other tights. They stand up excellently to use, as well - out of 10 or so pairs I've only had one get a run.

Huntington, Indiana,Definitely the best tights I've ever had. They have great stretch and are really long. I am about 5'11' and the large fit wonderfully. I've seen that a lot of people don't like how high they come up on the waist, but I think it's great. They don't cut into your waist and make your stomach look lumpy and if they come up too high you can just roll them down. I recommend these to everyone.

Indiana,I love these tights. They are really soft (unlike danskin #71 tights), and are so worth it! The theatrical pink is a perfect shade, but the ballet pink is a tad peachy. They come up really high, but I like that because then it doesn't squeeze your stomach. The legs are long too, so they are great for tall people! I'm 5'7 and 110 pounds and a small fit fine. Also, the foot is different than in the picture. They also don't snag or rip easily.

New York,These tights are amazing.
They last an incredibly long time, and are practically run-proof. Although these tights look like mesh, they are extremely comfortable. These tights are not fake-looking like Capezio's "fake" mesh. But I will suggest when ordering, to order one size down from what you regularly wear. These tights just run a bit big.
