I love this thing. Thumb holes? The tie detail in the back? Automatically, it's the cutest piece of dancewear in my closet. It's thick and warm and keeps me bendy during class. I was actually surprised to find these do have thumb holes - the pictures on the product listing don't clearly show this detail, but I'm more than welcome to it. There's a hole on the right side of the sweater where you feed the tie through so you can tie it in the back. It's very nicely designed and looks sleek. This doubles as great casual wear as well!

Lovely and warm

The sweater is a lovely light pink with some thickness to it. This is much more like a regular sweater than other wraps and dance sweaters that I own. I had no experience with this brand when I purchased the sweater and little hope that the large size would fit. Reviews indicated that the sweater runs big so I ordered. The sweater is fitted (like it should be) but comfortable. I find this sweater in large to be more roomy than the Capezio wrap sweater in XL in case that comparison is helpful to others.

Runs large but it's really cute.
I could wear it on a normal day not only during warm-ups.

I'm really tall (5 10) and this sweater is acceptable for how long the sleeves are. I wish they were about an inch inch and a half longer though. It hits right around my wrist bone. I ordered a medium because that is what I wear in leotards and it is little big near the armpits, but it will do. I wonder what the size difference between the medium and the small is.

I absolutely love this wrap cardigan. It is super warm and extremely comfortable. The only problem is that it is slightly too small. It is a little short, but not anything unbearable.

A staple
by: DancingGoddess - 06/15/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
Of both my dance and regular wardrobe. I just wish I knew why the cuff of one sleeve turned red. I got the black one, so this is really confusing. I will try dying it soon. Hopefully that will take care of it.
Anyway this wrap runs a size or so large, at least on me, but is a great buy anyway. It's very warm, definitely a winter piece, and even then, prepare to pull it off within twenty minutes.
Also this is THE top for those ladies with long arms. It's one of the few I've found that actually goes to my wrists in a small!

Super cute, incredibly warm, and true to size. I got a large, usually get an extra large leotard size (140lb 5'6") and it fits well. Loved it!

Buy your STREET size, not your dance size
by: Raych - 10/26/2012
Comfort:
Durability:
I actually wanted to give this a 3.5, but wasn't allowed to do half-stars.
The only two problems I have with this sweater are that it's much bulkier than it looks in the photo, and the sizing overall isn't at all what I was expecting. I ordered a medium, figuring that this is dance clothing, which usually runs a little small (I wear both small and medium in Bloch leos, depending on the style). However, I was wrong. I should have gotten this sweater in a small, or even an extra small.
I'll still wear the sweater, but It will be a little big over just a leotard. I just hope it will still fit me for the intended purpose!

I got these for my wife and daughters too keep them warm before, between and after classes and they work great. My wife and I run a studio in Myrtle beach with the help of our 3 grils and son. The grils were always complaining about getting cold between classes so I got them this warp and now I dont hear 1 complaint about the temp in the studio.

Warm but not fitted classic ballet wrap
by: NKay - 07/20/2012
Comfort:
Durability:
Fit: True to size
As every Ballerina is aware, studios get cold. Then you get hot. So we need to layer to be able to peel off as we warm up. I was looking for that perfect sweater and ordered this one.
It's warm, it's fairly comfortable, and it's an easy wrap sweater that ties in the back. Durable and easy to care for by washing at home.
My complaint though is that it's not fitted. I have a short torso, and I've tried pulling down the sweater to see what happens and it does fit better if it's elongated, but I'm not. So the size small sweater is still bulky on me. It bags around my waist and it's important for me to be warm when dancing but also important that I can see my body and so can my teacher. This is why I give this sweater a meh review. When I wear it, it does not look like the item image.

I love this sweater so much! I ordered it in the burgundy and the color is so pretty! This sweater is perfect for warming up before ballet and is great because it won't mess your hair up like some of the tighter necked sweaters or shirts. Definitely a must have :)

It's a very cute sweater, the color in the picture is accurate. The sweater has a hand knitted quality that I really appreciate (so it's very thick and warm!). Great for wearing outside of class too. You really can't beat the price either.

I love this sweater. I ordered it in pink and as soon as I wore it, I ordered the black and maroon (blue was on backorder or I'd have gotten it too). When you lift your arms, it does ride up a bit but not so much that it looks awful. It transitions from dance to regular wear flawlessly. Pair it with a leo for class then over a cute cami for the rest of the day. I love it super soft and comfy!

Complicated

Another downside is that it's complicated! I don't know how to tie it exactly...like what is the little hole in the side for? So I made up my own way to tie it and it works fine. But be warned, it's a little hard to figure out.

I love this sweater! I got it for Christmas in the pastel blue, and it's very warm and so classic. The only downside is that it's not very stretchy, but other than that, it's really nice. I love it!

Looks better than it fits
by: Rowan - 11/24/2007 - Ohio,
Comfort:
Durability:

I love the feel and color of this sweater (I got the burgundy); it's soft and warm and flatters my hourglass figure. The color is rich and hasn't faded yet despite many wearings and washings over the better part of a year. However, there's no stretch to it so it doesn't move when I move; it tends to just ride up my ribcage and get twisted instead. The upside is that it's so classic in style that it can be worn anywhere. I stopped wearing it for class and just wear it with street clothes now. I like to wear it with an ivory camisole and jeans, and I get compliments on it every time.

My sweater just arrived in the mail today (fast shipment!) and I love it. It fits really nicely - I got the small, and it's snug and form fitting without being too skin tight. The quality of the yarn is really fabulous, too. It's super soft and luxurious. I'm definitely going to get a lot of use out of this piece.

I'm not sure why they call it a mock wrap because it does actually wrap, but nonetheless, I really like mine. I have it in pink. It's very soft and warms me up very quickly, sometimes too quickly and I get hot! The sleeves are slightly snug but not to the point where they bother me. I think it's great for the price!

Pretty!

Comfort:
Durability:

This is a very pretty sweater! I got it in burgundy and it is lovely. I could probably wear it to school with a tank top or camisole underneath. The reason they call it "mock wrap" is because one side wraps underneath the other and its tie goes through a hole in the side and ties in the back. But it is very nice and I really like it! It is soft and very warm too.

Great buy but not

This is more of a true wrap, like the other reviewer wrote. It's very warm, layers well on those cold winter days, and is a gorgeous color. It is not, however, anywhere near as super soft as the rest of the cashmere acrylic line (or as thin and semi-sheer either); it's just a normal warm up sweater. I'm in love with the rest of the super soft line, so this was a mild disappointment and the only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
