Turn heads in this stunning hand-painted 3/4 sleeve boatneck leotard by Watercolour Dancewear! Features include a high front neckline and a scoop back neckline, front lining, and a ballet cut leg line. Due to the hand painting process, the design on each product will vary. Paint used is water-based and is safe and gentle on skin.
Due to possible dye transfer this garment should be hand washed separately in cold water by hand. Lay flat to dry.
I bought this leotard in the blue and silver color, in a large. I find it very comfortable, and flattering, and very pretty. My only thing is that the color starts fading a little bit in the first wash. I also wasn't expecting it to be high waisted, its not a big problem I just thought I'd say that so others would know that it is a little high waisted. Overall, I very much recommend this leotard.
I got an XL in purple and pink. According to the chart it should be a bit large on me, but the actual fit is a bit tight, though workable. I agree with the other reviewer that says the front of this leo is very low stretch. It also seems to be pretty short from shoulders to crotch- I feel a little pulled down. I am not particularly long in the torso. Anyone who is might want to avoid this one.
The fabric is nice and thick, and it's very pretty. Unlike another reviewer the pink on mine is a nice pale pink, not too light.
I was really excited about this leo, but it was a bit disappointing. I got the red and peach color. Based on pictures of the other watercolor leotard styles in red, it seemed that the peach color was a bit more pink, but is actually tan-ish flesh toned.
As for the fit, the girth is unusually short in such a way that the fabric comes away from my sides unless I hike the legs way up high (and they always come down again if I try this). I don't have a particularly long torso, so this is odd. The arms are also a bit baggy on me.
I've had it about a year and I've only worn it to class a few times because it just doesn't look as cool as I was hoping. It seems to be pretty durable and comfortable, though! I wash it separately just in case the red bleeds.
This leo is so worth the money! It is so beautiful on stage, but it may be a little extravagant for everyday class wear. It is of such high quality and the suntan and maroon color blends right in with my medium skin tone.
this is the 2nd "Natalie" that is sized Adult but has insufficient stretch to accommodate an Adult bosom. this leotard is so strange: there's certainly some leotard stretch here but the front of it just doesn't have enough material to accommodate a normal Adult bosom. i'm not huge, folks: size 12 on the bottom and 14 on the top. i own at least 10 leotards and they're all size Adult Large. this one lacks either the stretch or the amount of material required across the front to allow a woman with a bosom to breathe! i'll have to return it. #oh, and fyi: the "ballet pink" part of the pink/purple one is almost white#
Reading reviews of the other Watercolour offerings, I made sure I washed it before wearing.
Wore with white tights and saw no color transfer to my tights or skin. (I bought the silver/blue.)
The colors are gorgeous and it's a thick, tight material. I want them all!
I have this modelthe other halter one. And it's nothing like the design it is showed here. I'm so disappointed on my leotards.
