Triumph is the best fitting shoe I have found for my feet, which are wide at the toe and narrow at the heel with Egyptian toes and very high arches. I recommend them for those with wider feet, and dancers with any kind of arch will probably like this shoe as the shank is so flexible. The platform is wide so balancing and turning is easy! The shank died on me before the box did. I highly recommend!

emmaballerina10/15/2015LOVE LOVE LOVE!
These are the first pointe shoes I've found that I have gone back and ordered 2nd and 3rd pairs of them! They fit my feet so well! It was very hard for a while to find shoes that fit my shorter very narrow feet. I wear these shoes in a size 5.0 XX in a meduim hard shank for reference. I have very strong feet and one foot of mine is very flexible and bendy and these shoes are wonderful for them. I found these shoes very easy to turn in and I feel like my preformance in these shoes have never been better.

DisneyDancer12/26/2014THIS IS MY SHOE
I know that with pointe shoes, everyone is going to be a little different, so writing a review isn't quite fair because everyone's feet are different, therefore everyone's shoe preference will be different. I can say for myself, these are the best shoes I have found for my feet (really long, really narrow).

BBallerina09/04/2014AMAZING FOR TURNING
I absolutely love these shoes! i have tried so many different brands of pointe shoes (a ridiculous amount) and I have finally found THE shoe, hopefully that won't change! These shoes are super great for turning and balancing, because the have a big platform. Many have said that they are low-profile, but I personally do not agree. I think they are medium profile. I like how the shoe comes to a slight taper at the box. It has been super hard for me to find shoes, because I have quite wide feet, but then I have compressible metatarsals, so my feet compress and become smaller on pointe. The slight taper towards the box has really helped with that problem. The one problem I do have with the shoes, is that they die super quickly, esp. in the box. Also, Grishko's sizing can be very inconsistent, even though I always get the same size, in the exact same shoe, and I request a certain maker, the shoes will often feel bigger or smaller than the pair before. Other than that though, I would highly recommend these shoes!

reneeeeee07/25/2014GREAT SHOE!
I have very long toes and a fairly tapered foot and these fit me like a glove! My first pair of pointe shoes were Bloch euro balance which most girls at my studio have, but the vamp was very short and the width of it was too big. I would go over my boxes a lot and had trouble balancing. With these I can balance for hours! The platform makes it very easy to execute turns. The 3/4 shank makes the arch of the foot more visible, along with making it easy to roll through in demi. Pointe shoes are different for everyone but if you need something tapered with a longer vamp and better platform I would recommend these! I wear a size six xxx medium shank and I am about a 9.5 in street shoes. :)

JuJulovesballet03/14/2014COMFORTABLE AND FLATTERING!
I recently switched to these shoes and they are by far my favorite! They are extremely comfortable and flattering and the wide platform makes turning and balancing much easier. I only wish the box was more durable so they lasted longer but otherwise, great shoe!

xXSaraBearXx03/03/2013AMAZING BUT SOFT
I absolutely love the shoe. The box is perfectly tapered and the vamp is a nice length. Since I got mine at my local dance store, I knew they were really soft. So then I ordered the hard shank. It is still soft for my likings, because I have pointe shoe murdering feet. But if you have somewhat tapered toes, short toes, and a medium strength foot, I think this would be perfect for you :) (Not an expert)

JulietP10/24/2012FABULOUS PAIR OF SHOES
Despite having danced for 15 years and having been on pointe for eight, I could never translate my full skills on flat to my pointe work until I found these shoes. The deeper box gives a wide platform for balance, and the shoe retains the tapered shape I was always so fond of in the 2007. The shank doesn't just break in one place like most shoes but breaks all over, which is perfect for someone with super high arches like myself, and the wings melt like butter with no pain or blistering. I struggled at first with sizing, and eventually settled on 1X down from my 2007 size. This is because the English paste in the wings expands with wear. I dance with a bit of lambs wool and a plastic bag to prevent blistering, and these shoes mold my foot perfectly. The only issue is longevity: I can kill a pair of 2007s in six hours. It only takes me one to kill these.

SophieTheDancer10/05/2012EASY TO BREAK IN, AND NOT TRUE TO SIZE
My pointe shoe size in Grishko is 5 1/2 XX Medium shank. I have been wearing the Grishko "2007" and wanted to try a different style. The triumph shoe was a total disappointment because it breaks in very easily and was not the right fit at all. It doesn't stay true to its size. I would recommend this shoe only if you like dancing in super soft shoes.

Kitkat04/10/2012BEAUTIFUL AND DURABLE
I am pretty convinced that these are my perfect shoe. I have tiny feet, and this is one of the few brands that makes well fitting small shoes(i wear 3 1/2 3x). I used to wear 2007's, but as i grew, my feet got a bit wider and i could no longer wear them. These, however, give me a beautiful line, even when i first put them on, and a sturdy balance for turns and fouettes(pardon my spelling). I love them, and they last me usually 2-3 months of class, but die quickly during a show.

I really like this shoe. The box dies out very quickly, but otherwise it's great. This shoe is very comfortable. It's very light and has a nice flat shank - good for center work. The only downside is that it dies quickly and breaks in after one use. Use lots of Jet Glue!

These shoes were my first pair of pointes, and I loved them! The only thing is that they break in really easily, and mine died out after about a month of beginning pointe and were very painful. Might look into another shoe for my next fitting.

When I first tried on these shoes they already seemed broken in! The looked lovely, but didn't help to support my high arches. The box also seems to be very thin, so it puts quite a bit of pressure on my toes. I make these shoes work with LOTS and i mean LOTS of jet glue plus i stuff some tissue/toilet paper in the box for comfort. This helps quite a bit. I DO like the the box is very wide as that makes it easier to balance and turn.

This is my perfect shoe! I purchased them for a performance and they required no break-in time. They are comfortable, but I have strong feet and they will wear out quickly. This is a great turning shoe. I usually wear the Grishko Ulanova I (but have also worn various models of Freed and Bloch pointe shoes). I have a low profile, wider foot, tapered heel, and even-lenth toes. This shoe runs a little big, as I had to order a half size down from what I normally wear in Grishko pointe shoes.

This point shoe is my perfect shoe!! I have tried many other brands and styles and this shoe is fantastic!! If you have tapered toes, this is the box for you. This shoe fits like a custom Freed without having to order 6 at a time. This style has lasted me longer than any other point shoe I have worn. It's low profile, tapered platform, low vamp and 3/4 shank will make your arch look big and beautiful!!! Ordering my 4th and 5th pair. I LOVE THESE SHOES!!! (It runs a little large. Compared to a Grishko 2007 I went down a half size and down 1X.)

I bought these for a performance because I needed a quick break in. I got the medium shank , and they were basically broken in when I bought them. They won't last very long, but they look very pretty. However pretty they are, they hurt my feet more than any other point shoe I have worn. There was a lot more pressure on my big toe than in other shoes. I normally don't wear padding, but I had to with this pair. Overall, I would recommend them for someone who needs a quick fix for a shoe and doesn't need a lot of life from them.

BeeLee 07/08/2014 Anchorage, Ak, Usa Age: 25 to 34 Can anyone describe what the wings are like on this shoe?
I just ordered some 2007s (have never tried them before) and upon first trying them on, the wings are so stiff and come up so high, I don't think they will work for me; I have a bunion on my left foot. I'm trying to find a shoe with a sturdy box for long toes that are a little bit more forgiving in the wing area...
balletbot12 10/12/2013 Phoenix, Az Age: 17 or under When ordering, if I already use Grishko 2007 pointe shoes, should I order a X down and a size down f
The sizing would be different for each shoe. The 2007 sizing states Suggested Fitting:
Women order 2-2? sizes smaller than street size
For the TRS sizing states Suggested Fitting:
Women order 3 sizes smaller than street size
Shoe needs to be fitted tight.
