The shoes did not fit. The suggested fitting for these character shoes was "same as street". I read the previous reviews so I decided to order the shoes 1 entire size larger than my daughter's street shoe size (just in case). These larger shoes are still way too tight. Now I have to, of course, ship back at my own expense. I am not sure why they don't size accurately so the customers don't have to guess and in my case, waste money and time.
The shoes appear to be well constructed, but I can't really rate durability or comfort since my daughter can't even get her feet into them.
These shoes were comfortable but very poor quality! After wearing them to rehearsal for 2 months, they appear as if they are 2 years old. Plus, even more disappointing, is that opening night is TONIGHT; and last night, at rehearsal, the heel broke off during a dance number! Now I will be spending all day trying to find a cobbler or a dance store that hopefully will carry a similar product.
I would recommend buying a half to a whole size larger than normal. We had to return because they were small & we bought a half size larger to give more room. Otherwise a nice shoe.
I ordered these for my 8 year old daughter. She says they are comfortable and she's never worn a shoe with a heel before. These do run small. As stated in the description, order 2 sizes larger than street shoe size. She wears a size 2 in street shoes, so I ordered a 4. They fit her very well.
I bought these shoes for a show I'm currently in and ordered them a week and a half before we opened. Thank goodness they really are true to size, at least they were for me. I'm a size 6, and the 6 fit perfectly, both when just wearing them and when dancing in them. These shoes are verrrry comfortable, and the buckle works great--no digging in to the top of my foot. This shoe requires lots of dancing, and I've never had a day of discomfort in them. Breaking them in seems to have been a breeze! I'm very happy with my choice. I didn't know about this brand, and was worried that I would rue the day I didn't buy Capezio...but these are great! I gave only 4 stars for durability only because I haven't had them that long, and can't fully judge on that yet!
