Satin basic camisole dance leotard includes a shiny satin front and a nylon blend back. Satin front features a subtle sheen for a slimmer profile than all-around satin. Other features include a square cut neckline, straight back, nude adjustable camisole straps, a ballet cut leg line, and colors that are designed to match perfectly with the Theatricals Bando Tutu.
These satin leotards are great basics to have. You can create a simple, cost-effective costume by adorning them with some decoration and adding a basic romantic tutu skirt. We have used these for several productions and the quality is very good. They last and they are easy to soak in some oxy-clean, rinse and hang dry.
Pro- The leotard looks great and is super inexpensive.
Con- It has a tendency to rip on the seams.
Fit- It's sized like other leotards... a bit small. I'm 5'7' and 130, very muscular. The Large fits perfectly tight.
I wore this for 5 performances. It looked amazing and I got a lot of complements. It started to rip after the 2nd, and I was able to repair it for the 3rd and 4th. I repaired it for the 5th. and it's completely destroyed. I just bought 2 more. I'll just replace them as they start to shred.
We purchased these for a recital dance. Two arrived with torn seams. DDS did replace those but then too others tore as soon as the girls put them on. I have some amazing seamstresses that tried to fix them but the seam allowance was too small and the material was so low quality it seemed to just disintegrate. DDS did refund us for two of them, but I would not recommend these to anyone!
