I bought this leotard in dark green which is really pretty. I modified it by sewing a pinch in the front, just because I think pinch front leos are the most flattering on me. It looks really great on, and made me feel confident in class. Surprisingly given the price, the fabric feels nice and sturdy and the seems are sewn really well, so I think this leotard will end up being one of my favorites. I will likely end up getting this leotard in several colors.

Runs 2 sizes too small

Bought this for my granddaughters in white to wear under a overdress costume for a duo competition dance. One of them wears a street size 8 and the large Leo was too snug on her. The other one wear a street size 12 and an adult small was way to snug on her. If purchasing this, order at least 2 sizes up. I was very pleased with the construct and how the entire front is lined however the sizing is a major issue. They use the Theatricals pinch from in ballet class and wear a medium and large with no problems. Just this cut seems to run very small.

Great Leo!

I love this leotard. Super durable, great fit, good support. It has good coverage in the seat and the top so it's great for contemporary work. I bought two last year for company performances and they've held up so well that I bought two more for this year and have added the previous ones into the class and rehearsal rotation.

a different use

I'm an older woman (71) and just LOVE this cotton leotard as a comfortable, supportive undergarment for someone my age! I am not a dancer but have an active lifestyle, wear them for yoga and also just everyday under all my clothes. Recently even served as a bathing suit (although the cotton didn't dry well, it looked just fine while wet).
An overlooked and extremely practical use for these good-fitting, inexpensive cotton leotards - once you learn the trick of stretching a leg opening to the side.
I am 5'2" and 120 pounds, 34D bra and have been wearing the leotard in a size M.

Great selection of colors if trying to match adult sizes with girls'

Ordered an adult small for a child who could not wear child large in same style. Since no pre-teen is available in this brand, adult small will work for larger girls. Child large is a 12-14 not a 14, so a size 14 girl will probably be able to wear adult small. Other people mentioned that pastel colors are not opaque enough for modesty. That is generally true in all brands and and all adult sizes when ordering pastel colors. Adults who really want to wear a pastel color will need a bra that matches skin color. This is not a problem in dark colors, but on stage, if using a leotard as part of a costume, be prepared to use a dark colored bra under a dark leotard.

Pink is see through!

I'm 5'9, 190 lbs with long torso (73" girth). I knew this was going to be a little short in the girth going in. What I was not prepared for was the tightness under the arms. The hips and bust fit well, but it felt like someone was cutting into my underarms whenever I would raise my arms above my head. I've bought leotards in other sleeve lengths from the same brand, and they all fit great... I'm not sure why this was so uncomfortable. Also, the pink is super light and completely see through in the back (front has a full lining). The fabric was half as thick as the black leotards I've purchased from the same company. Will be sticking with long sleeve leotards because they seem to fit better. If you are looking for a good, thick tank leotard, I recommend the capezio high neck.

White is very sheer!

I'm 4"11, have a 25 "waist and a 31-33 bust and I ordered this in a small, I believe. It fit perfectly except the white is very sheer in the back and it took me a great deal of time to find a permanent sweater for this to hide my bra which can been seen clearly through the material. I wish the back was lined (the front is, thank goodness!) Over all, I do like the leotard but be forewarned, don't order a light color in this unless you're planning on buying a sweater to go with it.

I ordered this leotard in lavender and it came today and when I tried it on, it was VERY sheer and see through. If you purchase this leotard make sure you get a dark color. The sizing also runs a little large as this leotard was too long for my torso and i am a size small. It is very comfortable however and the fabric is very soft.

This leotard is true to size however, you need to wear it so it can "fit to your body", because at first i thought it was slightly too tight but as I've worn it it's fine. Nice fabric and shelf lining is great!

I am in my late 20's (like, almost 30), a size 42C chest, 5'8", L tops and 14 bottoms in street clothes size and straight up hourglass curvy shape. So, not a ballerina but I do teach a lot of ballet. I took my measurements and went through almost every leotard on DDS before finding this one that fit my measurements without being a plus size leo. I used to have the Theatricals plus size leo and it fit great, however it is nylon and skirts or leggings did NOT stay up! I was on a mission to find a cotton one that worked. I ordered a few different styles and this one fit the best with the most color selection, and it is cut high enough that I can wear a regular or sports bra underneath! It is comfortable and doesn't dig into my skin anywhere. I have washed it and hung it dry and the color has not faded at all (I ordered Forest). I came back to order a few more colors!

The leotard was comfortable and fit well. (I'm 120 lb 5'7" and I ordered a medium) Unfortunately, I ordered it in the lavender color which ended up being pretty see through so I'm not able to wear it to class. If you order one of the darker colors, it might be okay but I'd be careful about getting one of the lighter ones.

This is a nice leotard...but it was a bit too large for me. It is very comfortable but it was kinda loose and the straps tend to go out from my shoulder making it look really bad. It also doesn't look too great either, but I guess its just a plain leotard for class. (DDS only makes it look decent by putting it on dancer models)

One of my favorite leotards

This leotard is one of the most comfortable leotards I've ever worn. I'm 5'8, 108 lbs and got the medium. It fit perfectly, and the fabric is very durable, considering all the times I've washed it. I got it in the royal color, and it's super pretty. If you're even thinking about getting it in royal, get it!

Street clothes sizes run 13/14 or 15/16 for jeans, 12 or 14 in Misses, XL for tops. Long waisted, Curvy girl. Fits well and is comfortable. Haven't had long enough to say about durability. Fabric seems average in density. the front has a "Shelf" lining that extends to the top of her tigts.

I bought this in white. The description said the white ones were fully lined, but mine was just shelf lined. It's fine, since I'll be wearing a skirt with it, but It would be nice if it was as advertised. Otherwise it's a good leotard.

A little tight around the butt and chest area, especially if you have a little more athletic legs and a little more bust than a typical ballet dancer. I ordered royal and it's a pretty blue. The material is comfy and semi-stretchy.

This leotard is very simple as far as the design goes, but the durability and comfort are great for the price! It runs true to size and has lasted me for over a year now. Also, it does well in the wash and does not get dingy like most white leotards do.

not for girls with hips

I like the Royal Blue color, but it's not very soft. I thought the lower leg cut would be flattering, but it didn't work for me at all. I'm 5'8" and about 42" hips and got the XL. The elastic around my thighs was too tight, so it was like I had muffin top legs. Glad I can return it!

Nice Leotard

I purchased this in royal, and it is a really great color. The shelf bra is really low, it comes down to my waist. I ordered a medium, and the straps were a little too long, but fit otherwise the fit was nice. Overall, a good leotard, and great for the price.
