I bought this leotard and was really excited, but the plastic on the straps broke on the first day I wore it. SO cheaply made. It looked cute until it broke. I tried to sew the straps back on but it just didn't work and I ended up throwing this away. Don't buy this if you want to wear it more than once.
My daughter did not even get to wear the leotard for one night at dance. The plastic is cheaply made and the straps meant to hold the leotard on broke before she even made it to class. I am highly disappointed in this purchase especially considering the cost of the item. I will be trying to get my money back for sure on this one!
I bought this leotard for my daughter. The straps are adjustable and connect to the body of the leotard with a plastic hook (similar to a bathing suit). The very first time my daughter put the leotard on, the hook stretched and it would no longer stay in the loop of fabric. I had to safety pin it. While in class, her other strap kept slipping off of her shoulder. She came out during a break, and the hook on the other side had done the same thing. I know that these are inexpensive basics, but I did expect to get a few months out of them -- not a flaw when putting it on for the first wear and then another just 2 hours later.
This leotard is very low on the waist, a big no no for ballerinas my age (13). The straps came off constantly and I had to sow them on so that they wouldn't fall of in the middle of class. The straps dug into my armpits making it very uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend this leotard.
I ordered this for my daughter and the plastic clips on the shoulders that make the straps adjustable broke the first time she tried it on! Sending it back and trying something else. Too bad though, because the leotard is nice looking otherwise.
Question regarding sizing - Theatricals Child Twist Back Camisole Leotard
by: Kballard69 (09/27/2012 - North Carolina) Age: 35 to 44
Can you please tell me how the sizing runs on this leotard? My daughter is 52" tall and very long and lanky - 52 lbs. She typically wears an 8/10 leotard in leotards that I have previously purchased for her to wear.Which size, in this particular leotard, would this equate to?
Thanks very much!
