It's just all around pretty average. Don't get it if you have furry pets. It will collect all the hair, and who really has time to lint roller before class? The straps are definitely an issue, it's not as cute with the cross back straps but they definitely don't stay up otherwise.

Fit: Runs large
I'm usually a size medium in ballet clothes -- I'm 5 ft 3 in, 121 lbs, and this medium fit a bit large. It was a bit baggy all around and had small folds in the back. Also, it wasn't that comfortable. The cross in the back is not as low as it shows in the picture, it's more in the mid-back area. Overall, I would not recommend this leo, so it's going back.

My only complaint with this leotard is that the straps felt as if they would fall off my shoulders but the straps are adjustable and can cross in the back and work great.

Okay for the sale price

The leotard looks beautiful but the straps have to be crossed to stay up. I do like that it is cotton as my ballet skirts stay on with this better than its lycra counterparts.

Comfy and Elegant
by: Emzizzle - 09/22/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
This is my favorite leotard that I own. I have had it for about a year now and it shows no wear at all (I usually wear it at least twice a week)! It is not extremely hot due to the cotton fabric and the style of it which is great for dancing. I AM IN LOVE WITH THE BACK OF THIS it is so cute and elegant. If it couldn't get any better, I don't have to wear a bra with it ( I'm a 34B) and that is great because of the open back. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH

Long Torso, Cheap Strap Clips, Material
by: EACB - 09/03/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
I had to send the first one back and order a size smaller because it was very long. I like a good cotton leotard, and this one holds everything in, is high enough in the front, and the price is right. So I ordered two. That said, the little clips that hold the straps on come off easily, and you will have to sew the straps to the loops on the leo because otherwise you *will* have a "wardrobe malfunction" more than once during class,(yes, it happened), and after three washings the clips actually broke in half.

This product is true to sizing, comfortable, and looks amazing for the price. It is extremely durable. Unfortunately, I had to put this leo to rest after two years due to holes in the seam.

Honestly not worth it
by: Laurenink - 03/16/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
I upgraded from the L to the XL and it basically made no different. The plastic things holding the straps on are cheap and warp easily. It looks like the XL has more room in the bust but no additional room in the hips.

My First Leotard
by: sparklingdancer42 - 01/18/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
This was my first leotard, I got it in April of 2014. I continue to wear it, and it still looks fairly new. I got it in Eggplant, and the color is very nice looking on my tan skin. I think this leotard is great for anybody beginning ballet, simple but pretty.

A Good Purchase
by: Dancingdaily - 11/28/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
This was my second leotard ever bought. I really enjoy the fit to it and I got a medium. The straps fell down a lot at first but I was still trying to figure out how to work the straps. The leotard started ripping on the seam by the tag about a year after I bought it. It lasted pretty long and I'm just now throwing it out.

Cute but weird fit
by: bunhead0824 - 11/15/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
In general, this is a cute leotard. The back is very flattering, and it's also slimming. However, it runs a little large, especially in the chest area. The neck also comes up weirdly high. Part of this may just be because I'm flat chested though. In general, I like it enough to wear it on an almost weekly basis.

The metal hook on the adjustable strap didn't even last one day. And the straps were loosened all the way, so it wasn't straining it that much. The straps weren't nearly long enough to make them cross in the back (like I'm assuming they're supposed to, hence the adjustable hook). Not satisfied with this leotard.

I am 5'8 with a curvy, athletic build. I ordered this in black in an XL for my height. I found that it fit well but the straps were designed funny, They hook more under the armpit than back area. I figured out that if I cross the straps, I don't notice it as much. I bought it because I wanted another black leotard and I liked the design. It also covers my chest which was an added bonus! So far, it has held up well and been durable through long nights in the studio. The weird straps weren't enough of a reason not to keep it!

Weird fit.
by: BallerinaCowgirl - 09/29/2014
Comfort:
I got this leo in garnet. It's a really pretty color, and I like the soft fabric. The fit is super weird, though. I am 5'8" and a size 12 and I got an XL. This leo is kind of too small and too big at the same time. It's very long, like, 6 or 8 inches too long, which throws off the fit of the back detail. I crossed the straps to try to shorten it a bit, and that sort of helped, but once I got it on with tights, the fit was miserable. I don't know what I'm going to do with it; it's so unattractive I don't think I can even keep it as a backup leotard.

makes legs look short

Great leotard, I'm not gonna lie. I wore it to class one night and i noticed my legs look really short and my teacher said the same thing. So if you have short legs, don't buy it.

I ordered this leotard because my daughter thought it was beautiful and loves the way it looks on other dancers. When it arrived in the mail it was way too small and my daughter said the material was uncomfortable. My daughter is 5'5" and 117lbs. She wears an adult small in the Theatrics pinch front leotard but the adult small in this one runs at least one size if not two sizes smaller. Hope this helps in ordering the correct size. This is a beautiful leotard and my daughter was so bummed when it went back. She chose not to order a larger size due to the fact that we weren't sure if she needed to go up one or two sizes and the material was not comfortable.

It's okay
by: Dancer4ballet - 01/01/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
Well, it doesn't exactly look slimming, and I'm an extra small. This leo is also made of a very thin material, so you can see everything. But it's not the worst leotard I own, though it frequently ends up at the bottom of my drawer. I really like the colour(I got the blue) And the twist back is nice, as well. As mentioned in some other reviews, the straps are problematic, but I did some sewing and it's much nicer now. For a cheap leotard, it's actually not bad, and I do wear it every now and then.

Cute and Sturdy Leotard
by: Caliope - 11/17/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
This leo is so adorable and comfy!! After a while, I have built up some pilliness around my waist from putting my sweaty hands on my hips, but aside from that it's still good as new. It doesn't sweat through too easily, the straps are sturdy and easy to adjust. The shelf bra is also quite strong and supportive. I feel quite comfortable and confident in it. Good leo.

Sizing is off
by: txnaomi - 10/14/2013
This is a pretty leotard. I can't say anything about durability yet, but I can warn you about sizing. My daughter is long in the torso, but according to the size chart, the Medium should have fit nicely all around. Nope- too tight lengthwise. Fortunately, it's only slightly large on her younger sister so I kept it and bought a Large. I hope it's long enough!

Cute & Comfy, but straps...
by: pointeallstar - 09/09/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
This is a cute and comfy leotard. It would be four stars, except, like with every other reviewer, THE PLASTIC STRAP HOLDERS BROKE. They only lasted a few weeks before breaking, and I had to tie the straps together and make it a halter. Other than that, it's a good leotard.

Pretty but not durable
by: Huckabee - 04/03/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
I bought this in mulberry, and I was happy with the way it looked on, but I was really disappointed about the quality. One of the little clasps that make the straps adjustable broke the very first time I tried it on, and the other wasn't far behind. I am fine with sewing them on, but I feel like I shouldn't have to after only one wear.

Meh. Strap Closures are Cheap
by: Courie - 02/15/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
I've worn this leotard about five times. After the first time I wore it, one of the strap closures had fallen off. I safety pinned the strap back on and went to class, where almost immediately, the other closure snapped off and left me rather exposed...
I sewed both straps back onto the leotard and it works fine now, but really, it should have worked fine when I bought it!

Cheap straps
by: Drmom31 - 12/16/2012
I bought this for my daughter. It looks great on her and fits well. However, like the previous reviewer, the clips for the straps stretched out and thus were worthless. I also chose to sew the straps on, but we decided having the straps crisscrossed worked better as they lay so far out that they can slip off. Cute Leo, but the company could've spent a few cents more for sturdier clips.

Pretty, but not made well
by: Alexi - 10/13/2012
Comfort:
Durability:
When I saw that they had this leo now, I immediately bought it. I love the criss cross design on the back. When I finally received it, I noticed that the straps were convertable. There were these hooks on it, like a bra, where you can remove the straps. I tried the leo on and the straps fell right off. I looked at the hooks and they were very poorly made. The plastic used for them were very flimsy and broke very easily. So i found the length of straps I liked, cut off those hooks, and sewed the straps to the leo so I wouldn't have to worry about losing my top during class. The only other complaint that I have is that the straps are way to spaced apart. They sit on the edge of the shoulder rather than the middle which therefor causes the straps to twist around and feel a bit uncomfortable. Like they say, "beauty is pain" and this leo is SO cute, so over time, you get used to the twisty straps.
