Womens Classic Ballet Wrap Skirt

Nice turnaround time from placing the order and delivery. The leotard and skirt are beautiful in person. Very flattering on the dancer and will look beautiful on stage. We followed the sizing chart and it helped to run through the questions of where we shop and the sizes we buy from those stores as it turned out to be the perfect fit.

Such a beautiful skirt!! Ordered it for a friend and it's awesome! I got the M/L and it's the perfect length! I was worried it would be really short but it fits great!

This skirt is very pretty! the strings are a little but long but I trimmed them down every easily. the length is nice and doesn't show anything if you get your correct size. makes me feel very elegant and professional.

I have been wanting a wrap skirt for class and I found this one. It is really cute and works very nice for what I want. It stays on and does not slip during class, a problem I have had before with other skirts. The price isn't bad either!

I sized up (usually a small but got a medium) so I have a little extra ribbon but it works fine. It's a little static-y against tights or a nylon style leotard and you can see the tag through the back. I just do lessons for ballet so it's fine for that!

Very very short. For someone with shorter legs and a longer torso, this does not even fall below my rear so I will likely not be wearing it often

I was somewhat nervous reading the other reviews how small the skirts ran, but once I received it and tried it on, it fit perfect! The strings are a little long for my taste, but I can simply just wrap it around several times around my waist LOL! The color is gorgeous! I ordered ballet pink and it's a subtle shade of that peachy ballet pink that I love. Blends with Capezio tights (since I wear my tights over my leotards) I would highly recommend this skirt because it's well made, beautiful material and color and you can't beat the price!

The color I ordered was very pretty but it runs small. It barely covers your rear end. I would recommend ordering up a size or not getting this one.

The skirt is cut unevenly and asymmetrically--clearly a mistake, since this skirt is supposed to be a basic sheer wrap skirt. There's nothing wrong with the fabric itself, and the ML size is a good fit. But the hemline looks terrible, so I'll have to eat the cost of return shipping and buy a different skirt. Very disappointing.

I am 5ft, medium. This is a really cute length on me, love it! And I plan to get a few more in other colors. The only problem I have with this is the workmanship, one of the area is sewn rather ugly, I guess if you don't know it, you won't notice it.

I ordered a M-L, and it was far too small for me. I'm a size 6 dress, and a medium in just about everything else, so I was really surprised by this skirt. When wrapped around my waist the two ends of the skirt hardly overlapped, and it only extended past my leotard by about half an inch. It's a cute everyday skirt for class, so I'm bummed I can't wear it. Size up if you can!

It's a very short skirt. It barely covers the bum. I think Mirella's one size fits all skirt is a better option.

I got the M-L in teal... and it's short short. Barely covers it all down there.But i'm 31 and I have a butt and a little extra in the front so if you're rather flat in the butt it may be enough.

I bought two wrap skirts, one eggplant and one teal. They are just perfect for me to wear to class and very affordable. Overall great buy!!! Very happy with my purchase.

I wear a size small, but I ordered the medium/large size because the length seemed very short in the pictures. The length is barely where I want it even in this size. The overlap of the wrap is a little more than it should be on me because of the size, but I was looking for a low priced skirt so everything's not going to be perfect.

I purchased this skirt using the sizing chart. I fit all of the smaller size requirements except the girth, so I decided to just play it safe and get the larger size. When the skirt came in, I tried it on, and the front of the skirt was a normal size, but the back of the skirt was WAY too short. The skirt didn't even go half-way down my bottom. I tried turning the skirt around, but that required the tied ribbon to be in the front, which was just weird, and what is supposed to be the back was still too short in the front. It's possible that it was because the skirt was too wide and made for someone with a bigger waist (the ribbon was a little long and could have wrapped around a few times), but from looking at the skirt, it doesn't look like it would have fit anyone to me. Anyways, I sent mine back and had to find a new skirt (I was required to have a white skirt for a summer intensive).

I received this skirt a few years back in black. I got it in a P/S, even back then the skirt was incredibly short, with no movement in the chiffon. In addition to that, the strings can wrap around your body three times before even tying. I decided to give this skirt a try again, but this time in a M/L. Let me say it is just as bad, if not worse than before. It wraps incorrectly, leaving creases, awkward short spots, and just overall looking terrible. Again though, the strings are FOREVER long. No matter how many times I wrap it around myself, the strings still look bad. Lastly, I decided to fold the skirt in half and realized that the sides weren't even even! One side was WAY longer than the other. In conclusion, don't get this skirt! Pay the extra $6 and get Mirella'd beautiful skirt. This is a waste of money.

It would seem that this skirt was designed with pre-pubescent girls in mind. If you have hips AT ALL, this skirt will not hang properly. It's also VERY short. And, as other posters have said, the ribbons are SO long; it's almost laughable!

This skirt's shape hugs my hips and sort of flares out at my thigh area. It's not too bad though. Also, when I looked at the sizing chart, I was perfectly a size S but I followed other reviewers and bought a size M/L (I'm 5'1). The skirt was fine, but if you wear it a certain way, it's too short still. The string is also very long, so I had to cut it.

We ordered this white skirt to go with our royal blue leos for a show. With a group of dancers who ranged in size from a large child through a large adult, with all different body types (thin to voluptuous, long legs to long torsos), we were happily surprised that every dancer looked fabulous in this skirt. The skirt is definitely short, just barely covering the lady parts; but, the legs are framed so beautifully by the skirt that our dancers had a lovely classical look. The quality is good; and, it comes with a nice long string which was helpful for some of our larger dancers. We did have our taller, but thinner dancers wear the M/L size to accommodate their longer bodies.

I ordered this leotard because I liked the length. I thought it would make my long legs look even longer and look super cute. I was wrong... I got the M/L and it was still too small. The body that is required for this is absolutely no hips whatsoever and long torso and legs. The strings are too long even if I cut about a foot off of them. You have to wrap the string around about three times for them to hang in the right place. When I wear this skirt, it rides up my hips and bunches. Also displaying the very bottom of my...well bottom and the crotch of my leotard. Not flattering at all. I kept it purely to lend to other people when a black wrap skirt is needed. Would not recommend.

The first time I ordered this, i got petite/small. I had to return it. I have a small waist, but this did not fit. I had to get the next size up, and the strings are too long. And, no matter how I tie it, one side ends up longer than the other! It's really frustrating, but it might just be me. But, overall, this is a great skirt for the price. It holds up well and is comfortable. Just consider size before you buy.

I bought this skirt, just arrived. I am a short person and the skirt is really short even for me. Looks like a child size. doesn´t cover anything at all, it ends just where the leotard ends too (in the leg).Too short and small. Size M-L. I normally order small. I can´t imagine the size of a small.

This is (like the title says) the best skirt ever! I'm 5'8" 95 lbs and got the petite/small, and it fits perfectly! It makes my already long legs look longer and it looks so elegant and professional! I totally recommend this skirt for dancers of all ages.

I ordered this skirt in Ballet Pink and always, always receive compliments on it. One of my dance teachers even ordered one after seeing it on me! I have been on the quest for the perfect wrap skirt for some time and am so happy to have finally found "The One" (cheesy, I know). This skirt is the perfect length and makes your legs look longer, which is a big plus with me, as I have short legs! It also looks great for pointe. One thing about this skirt, however, is if you wear white/whiter tights, it can look a bit odd if you order the Ballet Pink/Pink. I definitely recommend this skirt as it is comfortable and very cute!

This skirt is soooo flattering and it is the first skirt I bought that actually fit perfectly. If your looking for a skirt that will not rip as easy as others or a skirt that will make your waist look even tinier BUY THIS SKIRT!!!!!!!

Just like the title says, this is the perfect ballet skirt! It's just the right length, it covers your tush but its still short enough so that you can see the lines when you do arabesque and other extensions. I will totally recommend this to all of the other ballet dancers at my studio!

This skirt is such and great deal and have loved theatricals in the past, though I found this skirt to be really short and really wide! When I wrapped it like usual, the part on top went past my waist and looked funny.

I love this skirt i just bought it again but in pink! It fits really well and I love the length its perfect I am 5'7 around 127 pounds and my hips are around 37 inches but it flatters my hips and length flatters my legs by making them look longer. The only thing i find annoying is that when im jumping the the strings keep coming up, they dont get undone they just dont stay in one place which i find annoying but i would still get it

The skirt is so soft and its a great quality for the price. Every dancer needs a black wrap skirt. However, if I put it on my waist, it barely reaches my mid thighs. (5'2" and 110lbs) I dont mind this, but I ordered a size up and its only that long. Some people find this uncomfortable but I don't mind. Hope it helps!
