Fits great and attached skirt has a nice lift to it. Unfortunately, the roses became unravelled and fell off after only one wear and one wash.

Ordered several of these for some of my young students and they were precious! Fit great and looked very nice. The only reason I am not giving this dress five stars is because the flowers on the front came undone on every single student that bought it. If you order strongly suggest reinforcing the sowing on the flowers on the chest before letting your child wear it. But otherwise love love love it.

Beautiful style but falls off shoulders

This dress is a beautiful style, well-made and high quality. However we were disappointed that it did not fit; like other reviewers, we found that the shoulders wouldn't stay up due to the wide cut of the neckline. I think it might work for an older child with broader shoulders.
For reference, my daughter is 4 1/2, measures 40" girth, and usually wears a 4T or 5T in clothes. We ordered both the XS and the S and had the same problem with the shoulders on both sizes. Note that the S was the better fit.
Also, FYI the roses on the blue dress are also blue, not the pink that is shown in the picture. (I think the blue on blue looks better anyway).

The XS fits my four year old perfectly

My daughter just turned four and wanted to start dance classes. She really wanted a black leotard with an attached skirt and got really excited when she saw me looking at this one. The leotard and skirt all seem to be made with good quality fabric and it just looks so sweet on her. I'd say it fits true to size. She wears a 4T or 5T but is tall enough for a little girls XS too. The cut on the neckline is a little low for a young girl, in my opinion, but it didn't surprise me as it looked a little low in the website pictures provided too. I also saw some reviewers saying the shoulders are a little wide and fall down and can see how easy that would be now that it is on my girlie. I plan to add some simple tie backs and I think that should solve that problem easily enough. Overall we are both really happy with this purchase and I would completely consider buying a new one when she outgrows this one.

Nice dress - little large in shoulders

I purchased this dress for my three year old granddaughter in XS. It is very pretty and I was pleased with the quality of the product for the price. Typically a size 4, I assumed the XS would translate to toddler size. The dress tends to slide off her shoulders, however, which cannot be comfortable when she is dancing.

Perfect for any princess

You can feel the quality of this leotard. It looks adorable on my nearly 5 year old without being overdone. Most importantly, she says it is very comfortable and loves being in it. I ordered a small and it fits perfectly with a little room to grow, though it is a tad wide in the shoulders. Overall we are very happy!

very cute - a little loose at shoulder

I bought this in size S for my 3.5 yr old who is a little tall for her age. She wears 4T in regular clothes. This dress is super cute and comfortable everywhere except the shoulders where it is a little loose. perhaps because of a deep neck. The sleeves tend to slip down sometimes.

I purchased this for my daughter and the leotard is very soft and has a nice lining on the inside. Very good quality. It is simple and having the tutu already attached is nice.

Wide in the shoulders

My daughter is 3 1/2 and is very petite. The dress is well made but wide in the shoulders. They tend to slip off of her. I ordered the XS. I am still happy with the purchase since she will eventually grow into it.

I'm just going to say it, my daughter is the best dressed in her modern dance class. The rest of the girls look like they're playing dress up because their tutus are giant and glittery, this leotard has great proportions and she looks like an actual ballerina.

Very cute and Pretty

I bought these as the dress code for my Pre-Dance and pre-Primary classes this year, the girls look beautiful in them! they love the little fluffy skirts and rosettes. I love the slightly peach colour very much. I would be interested in seeing these in the other colours. Lovely, and great price! The XS fits 4 year olds perfectly and 3 year olds with a bit of room.
