A good basic leo

This leo is super comfy. It's not very supportive or flattering in the bust. I don't really wear it that often for that reason because I don't really like wearing bras with leotards and it's a mess when I do leaps (I'm a 32D). I looove the length of the sleeves though. They're a bit longer, but the way they sit looks very elegant and can really flatter your hands. So basically the sleeves are nice and the rest is just average. Not too hot either, so that's nice! You'll stay warm but won't feel like you're dying.

I ordered this leo in black over three years ago for a performance and still wear it on a regular basis for class! I am amazed at how well it has held up without the color fading or any visible damage to the fabric!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good quality leotard.

I Love it!- great material, great cut. Fits great. I use it for yoga. Body moves great. I'm tall with broad shoulders fits great. Ordered black. Not see through at all . I am ordering more. Totally recommend it!

My first new leotard in 40+ years

My friends and I are taking beginning tap at a local-ish dance studio and I couldn't find my leotards. I didn't need them, but having a leotard and tights to wear makes me feel more like I'm taking dance. I'm glad I bought this, it's a heavy leotard, perfect for January in the Northeast and it has a nice satiny feel. My class hasn't begun yet, so I can't talk about durability, but I liked the sale price.

I tried this on in the store but ended up returning it. The back was pretty much sheer on me, and the front left little to the imagination. It seems to be a perfect fit otherwise, but was just, well, too indecent to wear in public, even at a studio.

Runs a Bit Small

The material felt nice although I wasn't expecting it to be so shiny. I'm squarely within the medium range on the size chart in bust and waist, small in the hips, so I ordered the medium. It "fit", but was snug enough that I felt really exposed. Returned and ordering a similar cotton leo by capezio in a large.

I read the reviews and went back and forth for hours on which leotard to purchase. I am a dance teacher and need something comfortable that will hold up through all that I put it through! I tried this on as soon as I got it and I didnt want to take it off!!! It is so comfortable and fits soo well! Snug enough that I feel supported, but not too tight that I cant move. I also wear a size 36I bra, so generally leotards tend to pull too short, but this one feels great! I really recommend for curvy girls!

I got the XL, the only tight parts were the arms. It was very comfortable to dance in and it can also be used under clothes. It made me really hot, so I may not wear it in the summer, but for the winter its good. I will be buying more, and some short sleeve.

Excellent quality and fit

I recently ordered 3 of the Capezio Leotards in Black, Red and White. These are the first leotards I have had in years and I am very happy with the choice I made ordering the Capezio's. I will be wearing these as tops and fashion bodysuits especially under sweaters this fall/winter. I love the fit and feel with the slight spanex as well. I highly recommend these to anyone whether for dance or fashion wear.

When I got mine there was no shelf lining (I got the black), but since I lack growth in the chest area I don't have to wear it with a bra. I'm 95 lbs 5'8" and got the small.

Comfortable and beautiful leotard

I love this leotard. I have one in white and one in the burgundy-like color for myself. They are true to size and comfortable, not riding up obnoxiously, cutting off circulation, or itching. When I needed to order two leos for girls in my church to attend a dance camp with me, I knew exactly which ones to order. Even though two out of the three of us weren't the "type" to love leos before we got them, these ones have us sold!

Beige leotard lacks quality

Initially, the leotard seemed exquisite! The fabric feels awesome, silky and smooth. My daughter slipped it on for the first time, only to discover there were holes in BOTH underarms seams. The garment is lacking in quality manufacturing. Unfortunately, the leotard is for a recital just a few days away and we can not return it in the hopes of replacing in time. Living in a remote area, there are no other options for replacement. It's very disappointing.

Nice fit - true to size. I appreciate the sleeves actually making it to my wrists!
I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 just because of the material. This is obviously a subjective thing, I was just expecting a stretchier, silkier fabric. But, like I said, the sizing was accurate - so I have no issues with the fit or comfort.
I recently bought a long sleeve Theatricals leotard and absolutely fell in love with that fabric - so that is what I am comparing it to. The Theatricals leotard is shelf-lined - this one is not. Personally, I don't care for shelf bras, so this didn't factor in.

I have tried many long sleeve leotards over the years and by far Capezio makes the best. The torso and sleeve length are perfect, and they last for years. The more you wear them the better they fit. Also customer service at discount dance supply is awesome ! Thank again.

I bought this leotard recently, mostly out of emergency. It's very elegant and slimming! I got it in black and it looks great. I'm 4'11 and weigh about 110 pounds and an extra-small fit just about perfect. Be careful, though, if you are a bit taller and have a wide weist, since the bottom seems to run up a bit. I've got a wide weist, but since I'm not that tall, it was just swell. I also seem to sweat a lot during practice, which was an issue with other leos, but this one does not show any sweat at all (It might be because I bought the black one, though)! Great buy!!

I belong to a Sr. dance group that performs usually 40 shows a year. We wear this leotard nude color with the costumes over top. It's wonderful and looks like our skin. I wish more companies would make a long sleeve nude leo for older dancers like us. Thank you Capezio.

This has to be one of the hardest working leos I own. I've had it for a few years now, no snags, all seams intact, and hardly faded at all. The shelf bra alone isn't enough to support my 34DD chest (I have yet to find one that can) but it's high enough to wear a normal bra underneath without showing. Basic but fantastic.
