Capezio's "Team Basic" economy short sleeve leotard offers a classic scoop neck, ballet cut leg line, and delicate style with a back neckline cut slightly lower than the front. Ideal for dance class or performances. No lining. Hand wash in cold water, hang dry. See sizing tab for important fitting suggestions.
This leotard is really comfortable and is overall as basic as you can be, yet it's also elegant. I'm 5'8" 95 lbs and got the small, and it fit perfectly. It has no shelf lining, so unless you are small enough that you are comfortable wearing it without a bra like I do, or are comfortable wearing a bra with it, don't get it.
This is the prefect leo for beginers both male and female. While I will not recommend this leo for stage work but they are great for the classroom or studio work. I have ordered this leo for both my male and female students just starting out who don't know if dance is for them and don't want to spend the money on more expencive leo's. It is comfortable to wear and is very durable. All and all just right for beginner and intermediate dancers.
I've had this for about 2 years and its still like new! It fits great, when I first got it, it took a while for me to get used to the fabric but other than that its my favorite leo to wear! the black is not see through at all
I just started ballet so this is my first leotard. It is really soft, allows full movement, and doesn't ride up. I do wish the neck was just a little higher, though. I don't like for any of my chest showing, and when I bend over, you can see some chest. If you don't mind that, though, this leotard is perfect. I saw that some of the other reviews said it was see-through. I have it in black, and it isn't see-through at all. Over-all, I am really pleased with it. :)

I love the leotard. I bought two of them for my ballet class, a black and a maroon. I normally don't wear a leotard to ballet class but all my t-shirts have holes and grungy looking. I tried on the leotard and they coordinate well with my black capezio skate tights. love the feel and the flexibility of the fabric. Will buy another when the shipment of white comes in.
I am a male dancer but can't seem to find a men's leotard to my liking. A leotard is a leotard in my point of view.
I absolutely love this leo!
I am 5'2", 115 lbs, and a 34C.
The medium fits perfectly.
Short sleeved leos are usually really dorky and toddler-ish looking, but this one makes me look really elegant and it makes my waist look very small.
I would totally recommend this leo to anyone.
I am very, very happy with my purchase. I am relatively large busted for my size and find it necessary to wear a bra to ballet class. This is the perfect classic leotard with a back that covers all the bra straps and it is very stretchy and comfortable. I also appreciate the fact that it is not shelf-lined...I don't need any extra bulk underneath. Thank you!
