Capezio's "Team Basic" economy short sleeve leotard offers a ballet cut leg line, and delicate style with a classic scoop back neckline cut slightly lower than the front. Comes in pretty dance class colors! Hand wash in cold water, hang dry. See sizing tab for important fitting suggestions.
Good fit and does not ride up in back. Intermediate is a 6x-7 in American sizing, so that size fits most girls ages 5-6. Older girls would prefer the black even though the ballet pink is lined in front with a beige color. The lining makes it easy for little girls to find the front and not wear their leotard backward.
got this for my 2 1/2 year old to start "creative movement" class at the dance studio. great value and quality product. front is lined, holds its shape through washing, and fit my tiny dancer with a little room to grow, but not saggy. she's about 28 lbs, ordered toddler size.
My 3 year old daughter has started tumbling and wanted a leo. After looking online for cheaper leo's (who knows if she is going to stick with this) I came across this website. To my surprise this leo is super quality. My daughter says it is soft and loves it.
So oddly enough, I am a thirteen year old girl wearing a child leotard.... Yay? Anyways, this leotard I super unflattering! The high back is really unattractive! Also, if you do get it in black, it fades out into a really gross blackish green color.... Do not buy!!!!!!!!
Purchased two of these for my daughter, age ten. She presently wears a size 10 in another brand, so I ordered the size 12/14 in this brand after doing the suggested measurements. She could not even pull them over her butt. She is a normal size ten year old so this shouldn't have been a problem. I feel ripped off because then I have to pay for shipping back and a cost to get new ones! Discount Dance did offer to pay for an exchange, but I am still paying for the return, and what if the next item doesn't fit?
