My daughter has a medium width foot and these look and fit more like a narrow width shoe. So disappointed. Had to return and go with a different style in order to get a wider width. Unless your child has a narrow foot, do NOT buy these.

We just received the pair we ordered and my daughter was able to wear them for the first time last night. She was very happy with them and glad they fit! She loves that there aren't any laces.

Bought a few pairs of these for my 1st grade students and they complained so much. I've tried stretching them bending them the only thing I suggested to the students is wear them and walk on your toes and hopefully the leather will relax. I suggest buying them at least 2 sizes bigger or choosing a different brand.

Don't buy these. The front of the shoe bends upward and my daughter isn't even able to toe tape with these shoes. Garbage.

Extremely narrow, do not buy if your child has a wide foot. Also the buckle doesn't have a hole, it just slides and is supposed to stay secure. ?? Returning for a different brand, not what expected.

While these shoes are handy for kids, the taps are too far forward on the toe. Kids trying to perform a shuffle get the ball surface of the shoe, rather than the tap. For more advanced students, the sound produced is rather tinny, rather than the full sound of other tap shoes. Also, the buckles are difficult for young students to navigate.

The shoe quality is great. They are nicely lined inside and have a really nice heavy/good quality feeling tap. The buckle is a little unusual though. I opted for these thinking my daughter could put them on without needing to be able to tie the laces and so the velcro wouldn't catch on the tights. A "Slide Buckle" means that the buckle is made of 2 thin pieces of metal (like a soda can top). One of those tabs slides up so you can put the strap in the buckle and then it slides back down to hold the strap in place. So there are no buckle holes in the strap. It took some practice but my 6 year old seems to be able to work the buckle. She wears a 13.5 in her street shoes so I ordered the size 1 tap shoe... it's a little big but workable and hopefully will be perfect in a few months.

I found these to be true to size, they give you a little more wiggle room than street shoes in the same size which is a good thing considering you want them to last a little longer. My daughter (3), absolutely loves them, she's been tapping her heart out. I got the black patent leather ones and they're amazingly shiny and super stylish...Not to mention they're easy to fasten

Got these for my daughter and had to return them due to them being just a smidge too small. I'd recommend getting at least half a size larger than what the site recommends. Other than that, we absolutely loved them. I ordered the same kind just larger when I returned them. They have a very nice felt-like inside material.

I bought a different style this time in hopes that they would not hurt my daughter's heels like her others have done. So far it seems to be a more comfortable fit for her.

I really wanted them to work but when trying on these shoes my little girls foot was not comfortable at all in the shoe. She doesn't have wide feet but will order a wide in the future. These are going back and hopefully the wider version will work out just fine. For kids that are going to class once a week this seems like a good shoe for a good price. They would have been great if you have narrow feet.

I read all the other reviews and went one shoe size up. My daughter wears a 12 and I ordered a size 13, fit was perfect with enough room for another year.

Shoe is very narrow. Daughter's size 11.5 Bloch taps still fit but are getting a bit small. Got the 12 in these. They're long but way too narrow. I can't get anything bigger b/c they'd be way too long on her foot.

I ordered a pair one size larger based on reviews but they were too big. Guess they do not always run big. I will be ordering a smaller pair and just keep the larger pair and let her use them later in the dance season as her feet grow.

The company recommends getting street size but after reading the reviews of others saying to go up at least a size, I took their advise and ordered a size 2 for my daughter who wears a 13.5/1 in street shoes because it always better to have something be too big and save it for later than get something to small and it's useless. They fit just a little big...she can wear them with socks over her tights fine but still too big for tights alone. So I recommend like others to go up 1 size from street shoe size. The width seems fine, some others said it was narrow but my daughter has kinda a chubby foot and she had no problem with the width. As a dance instructor and a mom these are nice tap shoes for any dancer of beginning to intermediate level.

Read the reviews and saw where it was recommended to go a size bigger. I needed up going a size and a half bigger and sure enough it was just barely to big. So I recommend going a size bigger With the children's sizes.

I ordered these tap shoes in a size 13 my daughters street shoe size, but after reading other reviews on this brand I decided to change to a 13.5. I am glad I did because they fit her perfectly. I would reccomend going up at least 1/2 shoe size if not a whole size depending on your childs foot width. My daugter has normal width feet but if she had a wide foot I would need to go up another 1/2 size as they are a little narrow.
