I would have given this fives across the board had the shoe been as described. My daughter loved the fit and the comfortability of the dance shoe when practicing and performing. Unfortunately the color of the shoe was not as described. Dancers of color try to find retailers that take them into consideration when providing dance apparel. The shoe my daughter received was almost pink in color versus the suntan that we ordered. Not only does it not match her skin tone it makes her stand out even more as the shoe is not even nude compared to her dance team members. I recommend that you all do a better quality control when providing shoes of color.

Runs very small. I ordered 2 sizes up, from suggestions from other reviews, they are still too small.

I use these shoes for my dance shows and they're nice! the band in the middle makes pointing toes look much better and more arched and they overall are very sturdy. the platform makes my turns much more consistent and I can keep over my toes better!

These shoes are probably very well made but they are EXTREMELY SMALL. I ordered my granddaughter a pair (size 71/2 and when she tried them on they were so small they curled her toes up inside the shoe. They were actually smaller than the size 5 she grew out of by at least 2 sizes. Please advertise on your web site besides customer comments to let people know that YOU RECOMMEND sizing up 1-2 sizes

The sizing seems to run small. Recommendation is to go up 2 sizes but most of my dancers had to go up 3 sizes. 1 dancer had a wider foot so but I added an additional .5 to account and it fit just right.

Great quality shoes, very tough Awesome material! But always order 1 to 2 sizes up from your street size shoe to allow for comfort and growth as they do come smaller than you would think.

The neoprene arch adds great stretch for growing feet. My 10 yr old has the shorter style in black and needed tan for her recital. I ordered this style with the neoprene arch because she was complaining the regular leather ones were too tight. The boot fit sit higher up on the foot and she has a high instep so I was worried that she would have trouble getting her foot in but they she said her foot right in and had a bit of wiggle room.

These run unbelievably small. My daughter wears a size 2 in street shoes. We ordered a 4 in these as that is what size her acro shoes were. She did get them on but her toes were scrunched up. We will be returning them for a size 5.

My daughter wears a size 5 kids running shoe and the women’s 7.0 med jazz shoe is a snug fit. Returning a second pair and reordering a size she can wear more than a month. Great service on returns!

I ordered 11 pairs of these shoes because my class needed shoes for a performance coming up soon that is outdoors, so I just wanted the cheapest shoes I could get. The quality of the shoes is fine, not fantastic but you get what you pay for, however the sizing was so confusing. Everyone ordered 1 size up from street shoe (that's what the size guide says) and some people shoes were okay, some were great, and others seemed three sizes to big.

Bought this product for an event. I followed the recommended size up selection, but the shoe still fits a bit too tight.

I ordered these for the dance team I coach and was extremely disappointed with this product. We will unfortunately not be able to use this item. The quality of the product is poor (loose stitching, crooked seams on soles, etc) and the fit is even worse. They run quite wide but short. My dancers who wear a size 8.5 and 9 respectively couldn't get their fit right with a whole size run of 7-10 available to try. Their street shoe size was too short and when sizing up, as recommended, they ran way too wide with an excess of fabric at the opening and in the metatarsal area. I would advise you to opt to pay more for a superior product as the low cost of this item is not worth the frustration affiliated with sizing and quality.

These do not fit my daughters feet at all. They fit lengthwise but the tops are huge. Its like you have to have extra wide fat feet for these. Not form fitting at all. Very disappointed.

My daughter wears a 7 1/2 - 8 in standard shoes. Knowing dance shoes run smaller, I ordered a pair in a size 9 and they were really small and ran very wide.

I do not dance, however i find these to be great everyday shoes! I have high arches, so they provide just the right amount of support! I would definately purchase again.

I am a dance teacher and order lots of dance shoes for classes and shows for both myself and my students. I bought a pair of these to try out before ordering for my students. This style jazz boot T7802 fits true to size unlike the cheaper style of this same type of Theatricals jazz boot which runs EXTREMELY small. So as far as sizing goes, this jazz boot is good. However, I do not like the way they are made with the elastic going underneath the heel, and the toe of the shoe narrows at the end where I prefer to have more toe room, so they are not as comfortable as I had hoped. I would recommend, if you like this style of jazz boot, spending a little more for the Dance Class brand which fits better overall even though it only comes in full sizes. I cannot comment about the durability of the shoe however, as I have only worn them twice, but I assume they are as durable as all the other Theatricals shoes which I find to be pretty durable, overall.

We had been a buyer of Jazz Boot T7850. We find that the 7802 is much closer to street shoes sizing. The way it is cut allows it to go on and off the foot very easily. We are assuming that the comfort and durability will be excellent, but this is the first season we are trying it. Appears that Theatrical has another good product here.
