I bought these for rehersals ect. The first hour of me using them They lost color in the sides of my feet. Also the bottoms go flat EXTREAMLY fast. By the end of the week, i had holes in them everywhere. I was forced to have these for competition season and everyone learned what i was talking about. Both colors fade and never again will i get them
The shoes are great and fit perfectly. But the tongue does cover a little too much of the front part of the foot. But it is manageable. But other than that the shoe is great and I love the padding for the ball of your foot which makes it more comfortable for you to land on and do pirouettes. I'm a very hard dancer so if you are to you will love this shoe. I have gotten expensive shoes before and they don't fit like these. These are the better choice.
At first when i got this i was afraid that it wasn't as comfy but when i tried it on it felt a little weird. the top flap was in my skin and the design felt weird so i wore it for an hour and they instantly felt like HEAVEN. Thank God for the price. the inside is a very light fabric but i didnt mind that much. the bottom of the shoe is a hard scaly type. the color of tan is not very white but i didnt mind. and the shoe is split sole. the shoe doesnt tweak my turning. my only problem is when it scratches but that is regular for every dance shoe. you can clean these with a wet mr. clean magic eraser. you should definitely buy these before thinking about buying more expensive ones.
A friend told me these are just as good as the more expensive brand. Ordered same size I get in the expensive brand. Way too small. I am now ordering 2 sizes bigger then her street size. Lets see what happens.
This was recommended to me by a discount dance rep on phone. I really appreciated her help, however as it turns out this jazz shoe is not gonna work. The style is odd. The leather material that stretches across the top of shoe is very wide & covered way to much of the foot. Please make sure to not mistake this shoe for the typical Bloch slip on side stretch jazz shoe! This one will be returned today! Just make sure you order carefully. That being said we love the company & will continue to do business as always.
I ordered my daughter the same size as her street shoe and they fit perfect. She has several pairs of jazz shoes that she has purchased locally and ordered from here so the school team would all have the same ones. Reasonable price.
I bought some last year and they lasted a year and are still in good condition, but my daughter's foot has grown. I have ordered a 5.5 M for my daughter who uses a size 5 women's shoe. This is was too small. I ordered a 6.5 M and this fits her just barelly so I returned it to get a half size bigger to give her room to grow into them this year. These shoes are good quality and do last but the sizing is confusing sometimes.
My child hasn't been able to use the shoes - as they run extremely small. As soon as we took them out of the box we knew they wouldn't fit. We ordered the same size she typically wears in street shoes and she could barely squeeze her foot in. Disappointing.
Just got it in and tried it on. I always order a half size up for all my dance shoes but it was extra large and very wide. The way the flap goes up on the top would hit my ankle and would be irritating if not painful when dancing. But everyone's feet are different. If you have small petite feet like me I suggest you just pay the amount for Bloch of Capezio
I read previous reviews of the product saying that the sizing was true to what size you wear in street shoes. I ordered this product because it was a great deal and I had a performance coming up. The shoes arrived the day before my performance and I was very disappointed with the result. I will be returning them because they are far too large and beyond that they were not comfortable at all.
I really like these shoes! I was looking for cheaper jazz shoes and found these. I wasn't so sure about it but when I tried them out, they were pretty good. The leather at the bottom kinda gets dirt easily so be aware of that if you are going to be purchasing these.
I got these shoes for dance this season. I really love them. My previous shoes, different brand, were very uncomfortable. They had a hard insert in the heel of the shoe and I got sores from wearing them. These shoes are very comfy but they seem to run half a size too big. Not a big issue, I'll have growing room.
I bought these jazz shoes for a summer intensive, noticing they were super cheap, so I bought them. When I tried them on, they fit perfectly!!! They hug your arch very well and create a beautiful line. On top of that, they are super comfortable and are an amazing deal!!!
I can't believe the fit , low price and quality of this shoe. I love all of the theatricle products they are fabulous. And as always the customer service at discount dance supply is excellent. I wish they sold everything.
my foot is a true medium (with a slighty high arch); I bought my street shoe size and it is perfect. The tan color is beautiful it's the same shade as my skin. my previous pair by another maker has laces, but now that I compare with the slip on version, this is better. I had them sent to me with the economy shipping option, and still got them in 2 days.

Our return policy allows to you make any returns or exchanges within 30 days, as long as the item(s) are in resalable condition. - DDS Customer Service (11/14/2013)
You can return them, but you will have to pay for your own shipping and also you will have to ship back in a cardboard box (even though they ship in a bag) Also if you want an exchange they charge $5.95. Another thing to keep in mind is that you want to try them on with a clean foot because if it is dirty or damaged they will not refund or exchange. - Satisfied (11/15/2013)

I don't know what street size means and I don't know what size jazz shoe to get. Is there a size chart some where because i don't want to get the wrong size shoe!
This item states to order the same as your street shoe size. So you would order what you normally get in a tennis shoe.

Your best bet is to get 2 sizes bigger. For example for my daughter, she is a size 5 in women's sizes for tennis shoes, so I had to purchase a size 7. - Satisfied (11/15/2013)
What size should I order if he is a child"s size 3?
by: jazzytap (08/02/2013)
Because this shoe is not available in a child or youth size 3.0, you must convert the child to adult sizes. To do this, you go up two sizes. So, a child or youth size 3.0 is the same as an adult size 5.0. You would want to order this size as this shoe runs true to street shoe size. - DDS Customer Service (08/05/2013)
Probably size 4.5-5. I wear size 3.5 kids and 5 fits me. You could also look at this shoe in child sizes, which I believe is an option. - Ddancer (08/05/2013)
what is the difference between the Theatricals Adult Neoprene Arch Jazz Shoe
and the Theatricals Adult Gore Insert Jazz Boot?
The T7600 jazz shoe (theatricals adult gore insert jazz boot) is a leather shoe with side inserts made of elastic. The T7850 (theatricals adult neoprene arch jazz shoe) is made entirely in the middle of neoprene. The 2nd shoe offers an fitted grip around the entire middle of the foot, wheras the first option is not as snug, but offers a little stretch on the upper sides of the foot. - DDS Customer Service (05/06/2013)
I need shoes that dont wear quickly!! I am torn between the bloch super jazz and these, its going to come down to it if these wear fast or not. I would prefer these though as i dont want to wait for the new shipment of super jazz's come in but if i have to i will.
This is an economical jazz shoe that is cost efficient, however, these will not last as long as the bloch super jazz shoe. - DDS Customer Service (03/25/2013)
Dancer15 these shoes don't wear quickly they are even better than the expensive brand. - Harrystyleslover (06/05/2014)
My daughter wears a street size 2. There is no 2 in the child sizes and then it goes clear up to siz

looking for shoes for my daughter that wears size 2. Her previous jazz shoes are a 1 1/2 and they are getting too tight. Since there is no 2 in the children and clear up to 4 in the adult what can I go from here?
A child's size 2.0 converts to a Adult size 4.0, so for this shoe, the size 4.0 is our best suggestion for your daughter, suggested fitting for this item is Adult same as street shoe. - DDS Customer Service (11/09/2012)
