I have narrow feet, so I prefer laces. I got other more expensive brand names, but I actually prefer these better! They're more comfortable and, I think, look better.
This shoe runs a little small, but it is good for beginners and kids that are growing. Not investing a great deal of money in a shoe that they may grow out of in three months. Good quality.
I bought these in November as a Christmas gift to my daughter. She opened them Christmas day of course and classes didn't resume until the first week of January. During the first jazz class the seam through the arch broke open. I've tried to sew it back together but it is near impossible without tearing the shoe apart. Of course, it's long past their exchange requirement so we are now stuck with them. BUY A BETTER QUALITY SHOE.
Are these made of leatherPU leather? The description conflitingly lists both.

The description says it has a soft leather upper, but under content it says "PU leather," which is polyurethane leather, i.e. vegan leather. Which is it?
This item is made from PU leather, an artificial leather material made with split leather (that's the fibrous part of the hide left over from making genuine leather) which has been coated with polyurethane (hence the name “PU”). - DDS Customer Service (01/23/2019)
Many jazz shoes run small according to reviews, but there is only one negative review for these shoes, so I was just wondering. I wear a 9 in street shoes and a 10m in ballet slippers. Please advise? I just want to make sure I get the correct size. Thanks!
