I read the reviews on these tights and most of them were good. So with these being affordable, I thought it would be a good idea to order these tights. So I ordered three pairs of the Prima Pink color tights in the size L-XL and let me tell you these tights are so tiny. I am around 5'3 5'4 and when I first opened them just putting them next to my leg they went to about the middle of my calf. I also know that tights obviously are supposed to stretch out, but I am also a former gymnast so I am pretty muscular and I had to stretch these tights out so much just to cover my entire leg. And with me doing the tights got runs around the foot part. I think these would be great for dancers who are a bit shorter and also lean. These are really comfortable and pretty soft just wished they were made a little better.

My girls (ages 7 and 11, both very tall and lean for their ages) are usually pretty good to their tights, and I always gentle wash and hang. These are super budget friendly, but they aren't going to last the whole semester or anything. Good for 3-5 wearings and then some were ripped. Fine if you just need a quick and cheap option. Girls report true to fit and comfortable.

I have been dancing (primarily ballet) for 42 years, and of all the tights I've tried...and I have tried them all...these are the most wonderful tights ever!! They are soft to the touch, and on the legs, and don't snag when you are putting them on. Best thing is that when you are putting them on they do not feel like you are struggling to get into a tight girdle, yet the still support you well, and they stay where you put them rather than feeling like you constantly have to pull them up during class, and they don't bag in the knees. They wash well, and maintain there shape and softness, and never pill up. I have several pairs that I have had for years and tons of washing and they still look and feel and act nearly new. I also love the look of the soft matte finish. In my book...they are perfect....and a pray DDS will always have them....I cannot imagine having to go back to Capezio...LOL

These tights are great for recitals and for class. However, it's a good idea to have a lot of them because they get runs very easily! Also, the colors shown on the website are not a very accurate representation of the color of the actual tights. The light suntan color is very dark, and the ballet pink is much pinker than it appears on the website. Overall though, they are very nice tights!

You get what you pay for. These tights are very comfortable, but I have gone through two pairs in four months, and I only take one ballet class a week. Last week, I had to stop at the dance store on the way to class because when I went to put these on, they had run. They were nice while they lasted, but the Capezios that I bought at the dance store seem like they will last much longer, although next time I'll but the Capezios from here because they're $4 less than at the store!

These tights are the most comfortable I've ever tried, they almost feel like nothing at all and the waist band doesn't dig at all. They are also a really nice pink color, and not too peachy. However, they feel very thin and don't give the support of other tights. The seem around the conversion hole is very cheap looking and feeling, so I'm worried about runs. Overall, if your more concerned about comfort than quality, go for these.

I accidently ordered these tights again for my daughter. Again the very first time she put them on there were two runs in the tights. She is not a little girl and does take good care of her belongings. Normally I can buy her about a 6 pairs of tights and they were last her the whole year (she dances 5 days a week).

First impressions: Nice feel. Very comfy and soft. Can't really talk durability because I've tried them on once and have not started dance classes yet. If needed I will update on them. I'm 5'7" 111 lbs and I got a medium and they are a little small but a large would be far too big.

Very comfortable tights and durable - lasted me about half a year before tears starting showing up. (tip: use clear nail polish to stop them from getting bigger) I even stopped washing it for a long time and the color never got brown-brown, just slightly dirtier. (for care: use Wool-ease) I still wouldn't recommend letting it get like that (it got smelly) but I'm saying it just to prove the point that they hold their color nicely. All in all, a good pair of tights I'd recommend to buy (but get two or three, depending on how often you go to class, and more if you have shows/recitals coming).

I no more then pulled these tights on and there was two runs near the waist, and a run coming from the heel all the way up the back of the leg. Luckily I purchased the tan color to wear under fishnets, but I will never buy these again.

We are required by my studio to buy these tights, and I can see why. They look great on and the blend in well with m skin color and I am quite pale. But they work well with all skin tones in my classes. I would recommend getting 2-3 pairs of these, because they pull easily, so I have a pair for class, and a pair for performances. Overall, these are great tights.

We have used these dance tights for my daughter in the past and have not had any issues. She loves them and has danced hours every week in them since September and they have held up wonderfully. We purchased 2 brand new pairs for her dance recital and for photos. Within 5 minutes of wearing the pink in size adult small, both legs developed runs that began in the heel and ran up the calf to the back of the knee. This has never happened with any of the other pairs of tights that we have purchased from this line, and I hope that it was simply a manufacturing defect, or a bad batch from the supplier. I hope that we are able to receive a replacement shipped soon. The recital is in 8 days.

I'm 5'4" and just dropped down to 140lbs, I ordered these tights in a size Medium (in Suntan), they match my skin perfectly and are legitimately skin colored if you have a tan hue. They are extremely soft and stretched quite lovely. I STILL HAVE SPACE AROUND THE WAIST.
However, my character shoes caused them to have RUNS IN THE BACK. Even after the clear nail-polish trick, the runs in the tights continued to spread. The price is excellently cheap, so I didn't mind them ripping. For class they are very useful but to AVOID EMBARRASSMENT, I would NOT USE ON STAGE (unless under more expensive tights or fishnets).
Overall, I'd buy them again due to stetchy-ness, cheapness and color selection.

I ordered three pairs of these tights a few months ago because they are such a great deal. I am very dissapointed though... First of all, the legs are INCREDIBLY short. I am about 5'4 and ordered a small and could barely get them to cover me. Once I got them on my they were uncomfortable. I ended up using my sister's size medium but still could not fit into them. After trying to wear these tights for 2 weeks a huge hole appeared right near the crotch. Overall I am just dissapointed in the quality and fit of these tights. At least they are cheap and a nice color!

These tights are really comfortable and soft. They fit well and are my absolute favorite brand. I have bought the black, pink, and ballet pink and the colors are spot on with the color examples on the page. I would choose the regular pink color over the ballet pink, though, because it is basically a toned down version of the ballet pink and is much more flattering to the legs while still looking like ballet tights.

I initially bought this as a requirement for dance class. I hate stockings, but I found these to be so comfortable, soft on my skin, suitable for extended wearing, that I had to change my opinion. Now these are my tights of choice on all occasions. For dance, work, winter, anytime. They have also stood up well to multiple washings. Not a run yet.

As a darker dancer it's difficult to find tights in my skin color which is why I was initially attracted to the range of colors offered by the Theatricals Adult Convertible Tights. I wouldn't venture as far as to say there is an extensive choice here, just that there was a color (coffee) that matched my skin better than the colors of tights I'd bought in the past. What I find a little upsetting is that the color options are put up in no particular order. I would've liked a light to dark scale to help me there. Otherwise the color is nice and opaque on my skin.
I also happen to be shorter (5'4") and thicker (160 lbs) than the "average" dancer my age. The LA fit me so well and that's gotta be the best part about these. I feel that they will last me the whole year as the quality isn't bad and they don't ever feel tight but they are definitely snug enough. All tights slip down at the waist but these don't roll very much. The elastic band presses in but not enough that it looks like I have an elevated muffin top.
Overall I love these tights! The material feels nice on my skin too. Though I will say I've only ever ordered dance tights from Discount Dance Supply, so I may not be the most versed in the range of quality that exists for them. I do know they're better than stocking-tights that you'd wear to school or work though! I haven't washed them yet.

My daughter is in the lower end of the "small" adult sizing chart yet these do not fit her comfortably. I would definitely recommend sizing up a size. Also, they're priced well for tights but the material is not as soft as others we've bought in the past.

These are very soft and a very nice colour and the waist band is wide and not too tight so these would be wonderful, especially for the price, if they didn't run so very short. I ordered a size up, M, and they are short in the body and short in the leg. They are even shorter than the super old pair of capezio biggest kids's size tights I still have from my tween dancer days that I pull out when i'm low on clean tights.
I am a short girl with short legs, so this is not a problem I usually have, I would swear they sent kid's size M if the packaging weren't correctly marked. Still, they stretched to fit with a bit of effort but are very tight on the toes that way and they got quite sheer so stretched out. I can use them as capri length probably, and they were on sale so it's not a huge loss. I might consider rebuying because they are VERY smooth and nice, but another size or two up.

I purchased three pairs of these tights--one L pink, one L ballet pink, and one XL ballet pink. The reason I bought two different sizes was that several reviews had recommended getting a size up for comfort. However, the large fit me perfectly; there is plenty of room in the waist so the tights can be pulled up almost to one's natural waist. I'm 5'10" so I was relieved to find that they are not at all too short. I would suggest getting your size according to the chart unless you just want extra room in the legs or are afraid that the waistband will be too tight. They are incredibly soft and comfy--honestly the most comfortable tights I have ever worn--so I may buy these when I need tights just for regular winter wear. The only thing I've noticed is that after a few times of wearing them, there is a small, fuzzy line along the foot, right where my ballet slippers rub them. Hopefully it's just a minor thing that won't get worse. One last thing: Ballet Pink vs. Pink--I know there has been a lot of discussion on here about it, so let me clarify: Ballet Pink is a very light pastel pink, and is pretty much what dance teachers mean when they say "pink". Pink is a light tan skin color, and is what you would want if you need skin colored tights but are very light skinned. It is definitely not a true pink. Overall, though: great tights, great price, and will be ordering again!

I buy ten of these at a time. They are super comfy, not a tight waistband... But it is a thick waist band. So if you wear it down on your waist it will show a line... But not a bulge like other brands with tight waistbands. I like to buy a size or two up and wear them just under the bra line for a smooth Leo. But with these there isn't as much room to yank them up high.
They are super inexpensive so I won't be changing brands anytime soon.

I read the reviews, and saw that the Ballet Pink was a lighter color than the regular Pink. I ordered two pairs of Ballet Pink, and I got them today. When I first took them out of the box I noticed how very pink they were. They were a bit small, but I was borderline for size, so that might be my fault. They are very very pink, about two or three shades darker than the Capezio tights I have in the same color. They are very comfortable though. I usually get Capezio Ultra Soft, with a knit waistband, because the Capezio Hold and Stretch waistband is very uncomfortable. I took these out and saw they had a waistband very similar to Hold and Stretch. But they're way more comfortable, and I did get them for a little more than $5 each. They'll do fine for class, but they don't match my pointe shoes and are a little stretched out. We'll see how long they can hold out.

Seriously. I put these on the first time and they were so soft and comfortable, and they look great too. Like others have said, the waistband is fairly forgiving and doesn't give me the ugly lines most rights do. They don't seem to be in any danger of tearing after several wears. The only thing is that I might suggest getting a size bigger than the chart tells you so that they're more comfortable and more opaque.

I have 6 pairs of these tights - 4 in pink and 2 in light suntan. I have to say they are the most comfortable tights I have ever worn. Unlike the capezios where the waistband digs into your skin, these are soft and don't leave pressure marks on your skin after wearing them. I also really like the pink color rather than the ballet pink, because it is more of a subtle color that matches nicely with my pointe shoes. They last fairly long for the price, and I would definitely recomend them!

I'm 5'2" with a 26" waist and 36" hip and ordered these in a L, in the light suntan color. The size is very comfortable....I often size up in tights for comfort, but I could have probably gotten away with these in a medium. I will probably order my next pair in a M to compare. The light suntan is a nice beige color- not too dark or orange.

I love these tights for the price! This is my third pair. They fit great -- I'm 5' 7" and 145 lb. so I ordered the large. They're perfect. They are super soft. My first pair I've had about 6 months and use about once a week. My second pair I've also had about six months and I often use them two days a week. The second pair I just replaced because my dog jumped on me and pulled a hole in them. I've continued wearing them and the hole has not run, I just don't like having a small hole on my knee! My only complaint is that the hole for the convertibility could use a nice edge. It's a roll hem and is a bit aggravating to pull over the toe.

Some people say "You get what you pay for", as if these tights aren't good because they cost so little. But let me get something straight: these tights are amazing. I have been wearing them for over 2 years, and they have never disappointed me. Sure, they run, but no more than the tights that cost three times more. They are flattering, the color is nice, they are economical, and they have amazing value. They also fit very nicely (Just for referencing purposes, I am 5'1" and 80 lbs and the small and medium both fit, depending on whether you want them tighter or looser).
So don't get sucked in to the hype of the expensive tights. You will be happier with these.

These are cheap, they are pretty durable (for the price, definitely), good color and comfortable. However, my studio requires us to wear a specific brand of tights for recital, that is NOT this brand. So, I wear these to class when we don't have rehearsal. So 70% of the time, I am wearing these. They are comparable to the Capezio tights in feeling, except I like the waistband on these a whole lot better. I own these in ballet pink and light suntan. I am 5'5 and 105 pounds, I wear a medium and they are perfect. Follow the size chart, maybe order up a size if you like more comfort, and there you go! :)

When I first received these tights, I was skeptical about their durability because they seemed a bit thin. Two months later, however, I am very happy with them, as they have not run - even though I have washed in the washing machine about once a week. (No special care except that I wash them in a lingerie bag and do not wash them with bras, as the bra hooks would probably snag them.) I also love how comfortable the waistband is; it does not squeeze or create a muffin-top under my leotards. For reference, I am about 5'7" and 135 lbs, and I ordered the XL. (I always size up in tights for comfort.) These are very good tights at a great price!

My daughter has already run all of her more expensive dance tights only half way into the season! So I bought these for her to use during practices and rehearsals. I'll buy the more expensive ones for competition & recital only! Be careful though, as these tend to run a little on the small side. My daughter is 4'11" and 95 lbs (on the low side of the scale for the adult medium size). And we could barely get the crotch to fit properly. Consider ordering a size up!

I ordered three pairs of these tights about a year ago and they're still going strong! They're just now beginning to show wear and tear in the feet and crotch area but after a year of continuous wear, I'd say that's pretty good especially for the price, you can't go wrong.
I love these tights because they're comfy and the waistband doesn't dig like other brands do. It sits nicely and barely shows underneath leotards yet still stays in place.
I would highly recommend these tights!

These tight were super soft, but they had a run in them the first time I wore them. My dance teacher told me you wouldn't be able to see it from the stage for my Christmas Recital this Saturday, but its very disappointing that I'm gonna have to buy another pair this spring season, spending more money than I would have if I would've just bought them at my studio in the first place.

I recently got these tights for a performance that was coming up and needed pink tights quick. I am absolutely in love with them! They are the softest, most flattering pair of tights I have ever worn and I have worn a lot! However, they do run a little bit big. Unlike other tights such as Capezio the waistband isn't tight and can be pulled all the way to to under the bust. Which is great if you like that, which I do, but I would consider that when sizing.
Also, because they are so soft, do be careful when taking them on and off. They will run easily if you yank this way and that on them. I always take good care of my things, but if you tend to take them off quickly and throw them in a pile...not the tights for you.
Overall, for as much as I paid, they are my favorite pair of tights and will be buying all colors!!! :D

These are my favorite tights now. I wore prima soft, I wore Capezios. Being a dancer with a little extra fluff, I hated the way the Capezios always seemed to emphasize my fluff. These, not so much. I got them in xl, and could have gotten large instead, but another great thing about them, I'm now 7 months pregnant, and can still wear them comfortably!

I like these tights alright. The ballet pink is a good ballet pink that will match Bunheads ribbon perfectly. I am 5'6" 115 lbs and got a medium, they work, but are a little too short; I will order a large next time. I like my tights to fit easily without tugging. They haven't run yet. I like the waist band. It doesn't show under my tights. Overall, great for the price.

These tights are so comfortable! The pink color is more of a light nude color, so if you want true pink go for the ballet pink color. I haven't had any problems with these tights so far. They are pretty durable and soft. For the price they are amazing.

The waistband feels much better than the capezio tights. The fabric used for the tights is also much softer. However, I think I prefer the more form fitting feel of the capezio tights. The only con to these tights is the foot hole for the conversion . It is much too tight and narrow for easy and quick conversion. However, for the price it was excellent. It also feels durable. For a little bit more, I would opt for the natalie tights. It has a similar feel except the foot hole is wider. I am 5'4 and 110lbs. The medium was just the right size for me.

I bought 6 pairs over a year ago and have been rotating them everyday and not a single pair has a run or hole. I am a dance teacher and figured they were cheap enough that I wouldn't mind if they were destroyed in a month. I have newer and more expensive tights that were given to me (from conventions/workshops etc) that have holes and runs. They are super soft and stay put.

These might be my new favorite tights! Especially for the price! These are super soft and extremly stretchy! They make my legs look amazing because they are thin. At first I thought the PINK was kind of an off color, but it actually looks really nice with my olive skin. I am curious to know what the ballet pink looks like. The convertable hole in the bottom is a little big, it exposes almost the entire bottom of my foot, and the waist band is really tight. Those are my only complaints, but I cut all the waistbands off of my tights and use them for headbands anyways. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing many and many more of these in the future! I also want to try their stirrup tights.

These tights are incredibly soft and comfortable! The waistband is really nice, it doesn't dig into my waist at all and it doesn't slip down or anything like that. I've tried just about all the different brands of tights and these are definitely a favorite of mine. These are nice and relatively cheap compared to the other brands. However it doesn't last as long as some of my other pairs. As long as your careful with them they can last you a long time:) Oh and the ballet pink is perfect shade of pink for ballet class! the pink is nude than it is pink:)

These tights are extremely comfortable! They are so soft and thin and don't cut into your waist like other tights do! They aren't the longest lasting or most durable tights and will most likely run, but that is overlooked because of the comfort. I am about 5 foot 3 and 110 pounds and ordered the adult small. They were a perfect fit. Definitely worth buying!!

Great tights. Seems quite similar to my other capezio/nycb/danskin tights that I really like.
The elastic waistband doesn't dig in, and the fabric is great. The only thing is that the colors are off..I got the Pink and Ballet Pink. I'm pretty sure that the pink one is almost nude (can't remember 100% which one's which) no hint of pink at all...so just wanted to throw that out there.
The foot opening was decently stretchy

For six dollars you are getting a very good pair of brand new tights. They are extremely soft. I understand that they rip easily, but someone told me if you but them in the freezer for a few hours after you get them that they are less likely to rip. I did try this and there are minimal holes in them. I have been constantly wearing these tights for over a year now.

These are worth the price for comfort, but I've had a few girls run theirs the first or second time they've put them on. They are not very durable, but don't cut into the girls' waists like the Capezio tights.

These tights do not cut into the waist and offer opaque coverage. The theatrical pink is a true pale pink. I would happily pay double for these tights, but am glad they are so affordable! I will be purchasing additional pairs.

I bought two pairs of these in ballet pink for summer classes, and I was so surprised at how soft they were. However, I have to be careful putting them on because they're so thin. I already have some tears near the transitional hole in the foot because it needed to be stretched out and therefore created a run. You can't really get anything too sharp next to them or they might tear. It's not really a big issue though, for a low price they're a good deal. And they're really light which is nice for summer, you stay a little cooler. Overall they're a good product for class, pretty color, and I will buy again.

Love these tights! Awesome price AND great quality (unlike the Natalie convertible tights that are probably worth the $6 you paid). Sooo soft and silky. The pink is perfect - it's a rose-petal pink that show off your muscles nicely.

I have these in caramel color and have just ordered more in black. They are soo soft and cut very well. The elastic is not too tight in the waist, and are smooth enough to wear over the leotard. The material feels very high quality. They are not at all tight, rough and unflattering like the Capezio brand in the same size. They also don't advertise their brand name on the elastic waist like some others so I am comfortable wearing these outside the leotard just for that alone. I am so glad to have discovered these. However, I ordered some of the same in the child size for my daughter in Ballet Pink and they were not pink at all, but beige. If you are looking for pink don't get these.

I bought five pairs of these tights and will probably buy more once they wear out. They are very soft and have been durable so far. Whenever I buy capezio tights I usually end up cutting the waist band out, but on these it's very comfortable. I would really recommend these for class, rehearsals, or shows. Overall great!

I find most tights to be very uncomfortable, the waist band always feels extremely constricting. But these tights are extremely comfortable, I don't notice the waist band at all. They are very soft, and the ballet pink is not overly pink. I can't say much about durability yet, I haven't had them for too long.

Chicago, Il,
After my previous favorite tights were changed in a way that ruined them for me, I embarked on a quest to find a new favorite. I have gone through seven brands, and over ten various styles, and these definitely my favorites. They have plenty of stretch (which is important for me with my larger thighs from acrobatics), a comfortable waistline that does not pinch, and a comfortable seem around the hole on the foot. The only thing I do not like is the shade (I ordered the Lt. Suntan), but I am going to try the caramel and check the colors of pink as well.

These tights are about the same exact thing as the Natalie ones that I have been ordering and are equally nice. For the price you really can't beat them. I always get the largest size possible in tights because I am tall and skinny. Don't ever just get your suggested size in tights, get at least one size bigger, then they will be comfy and more opaque. I personally love the skin-toned sort of pink that the Pink is. It is certainly not normal ballet tights colour, not peachy or white, more beige. I wouldn't wear them for a performance but my teachers love them for class. They say they can see my muscles better. I have only ever gotten one run (in my Natalie's) but I retire them because each pair gets old after once a week usage over maybe 6 months. Like I mentioned earlier I am pretty sure they are exactly the same as the Natalie brand tights.

My daughter dances 6 days a week and I find that these tights hold up just as well as the Capezio tights that we use to buy. My daughter says that they are soft, the waist elastic is comfortable and she loves them! We buy the same size that we use to buy in Capezio.

As far as comfort, I was very impressed with these. They went on well. I'm 5'4" 115lb. I had ordered a S for another dancer, so I wasn't sure they would fit. However, they actually fit well, and were quite comfortable; AND the waistband didn't cut in causing a muffin top (like capezio's, which are insanely tight in the waist). They were great! I probably took them up/down 2-3x that morning, and by noon, I had two runners which started at the waist, running down! I will be able to hit them with nail polish, but still; that should not happen. I also gould not get the front seam straight... it was zig zagging all over.

I have always purchased the more expensive tights for my dancer and twirler daughters, but thought I would give these more economically-friendly tights a chance. They were purchased for my 12 year old ballerina to wear to class 2 nights a week, not for a performance. Within 1 month the tights were stained and showed A LOT of wear. I tried stain removers and hot water but nothing worked. In fact it must have damaged the fabric integrity of the tights because soon after they ripped as my daughter was putting them on for class. Long story short-buy the more expensive, but better quality tights.

Can't say about the durability because I just got them. They are very comfortable so far. I agree that the waistband is comfortable, not too tight or bulging at all. I'd say they might run a little small. When I first opened them I thought I had ordered children's tights by accident but they just needed to be stretched out a bit. I actually like them a little small though because I'm 4'11 and most tights bunch up because my legs are so short. Even if they don't last very long, I'll probably continue to order these because they are so comfortable for under $7!

I got three of these, one pink, one tan, and one black. I wear the pink ones most often because I wear them to ballet and they work well with my favorite leotard. They have held up great! I really like the waistband because it is very stretchy and you don't have to pull it up to your chest and then roll it down, it can just sit on your hips. However the black ones have runs in them after wearing them only a few times. That was probably my fault though. If you take care of them, they'll last a long time. I would suggest ordering up a size, I always have to pull harder than I should have to to get them over my feet. They do well in the wash, too. Just make sure you hang dry them.

I like these tights. I've had them for a few weeks and I haven't gotten runs in them yet but can't say much on durability otherwise. The waistband is great! I always used to wear body tights to avoid the bulge on my waist area because most tights I've tried had waistbands that are way too tight. Now I might switch over to these, which is great because body tights are more expensive and uncomfortable, especially when I wear them for performances with 2 other undergarments.

These are definitely my favorite tights I own by far!! They are so soft, but doesn't make me hot during class. I recommend you buy these! I am 5'3 120lbs. and I got the medium. I got these tights and was really hoping for something great....I read all the other reviews and thought that they would be a good buy. Unfortunately after only two times wearing them they got a hole nearly as big as the one that I have on some tights that I have had for at least 3 months...over all I would have to say they are not very good quality, even though they are really comfy and soft.

Love these....I generally buy the more expensive tights but have found that the price does not always equal the quality/comfort. These tights are absolutely awesome! These tights fit well, are durable, and super comfortable, all while being the least expensive convertible tights DDS offers. The only thing I'd change is that the foot slit is a bit tight on the calf when rolled up - otherwise they're some of the nicest inexpensive tights I've ever owned.
