These are nice shoes but they run very small!! The site says to order street shoe size (I was prepared to measure my girls feet but trusted them when they said to go by street shoe size). Be sure to order a size that’s 2 sizes bigger! Thankfully I ordered 2 pairs and the bigger pair fits my younger daughter. But having to pay almost 6 dollars to return the other pair does not seem worth it.

Order one size up from my daughters street shoe size and they are incredibly narrow. Will need to go up at least one more size and order in a wider width.

CONFUSING SIZING.
They're nice and thin.
My Daughter street shoes are size 13. for this soft shoes I ordered size 1 and they fit just right.
But for myself I wear size 5 street ordered size 6 they're too big. I returned them and got another pair in 5 and they fit me perfect.

SIZING CHART WRONG!
Do not follow the sizing chart. These run small. The chart needs to be updated so that customers can accurately order without the hassle of exchanges or returns.
I did read the reviews and ordered one size up and way too small. I'm going to go up another 2 sizes so that means I will be going 3 sizes up from my daughter's street shoe size. The chart says same as street shoe.
Besides the sizing the shoes does seem of good quality and is soft with a lot of stretch.

The description says to buy according to the child's shoe size. I ordered a 10 for my daughter that wears 9.5 street shoes. There was no way to squeeze her feet in these shoes! Wish I had looked at the reviewer that said to buy 2 sizes bigger. That would probably would have been the right size.

My younger daughters size 10 slippers from another store is getting a bit snug on her. Her older sisters size 11, from the same store, have room to grow. I ordered these ballet slippers in size 11 for my younger daughter. They are so small and tight I can barely squeeze her feet in. I know ballet shoes are supposed to be snug, but these are squashing her toes in and cutting into the back of her foot. I got them at a discounted price during their Black Friday sale, and t is not worth it to return them and pay the shipping cost. I will pass them to a friend who’s daughter has small feet, and order the correct size for my daughter.
Other than the size issue the shoes are very durable and very cute. I think once I get the correct size, my daughter will be very happy with them.

GREAT FOR NARROW FEET
I found these ballet shoes to fit true to size (but a tad smaller) for my daughter who wears a size 9.5-10 street shoe, she wears the size 10 ballet shoe. However I am picky about the fit and don't like to buy shoes that are too big, so if you want the shoes to fit with room, you may want to go up a half size.
The best thing about these shoes is how narrow they are. We have also worn the Sansha star split, which is a great beginner shoe. However, for my daughters very narrow feet, they were baggy looking. These ballet shoes however look fantastic on her feet. And I love that there's not elastic to tie at the top of the vamp of the shoe.

For Children the size chart says order same as shoe size.I would recommend Order 2 sizes up from shoe size. My daughters wear an 7.5 and an 11 regular shoe. The daughter that wears the 7.5 needed a size 9 and and my daughter with the size 11 needed a size 1. These shoes have a nice stretch to them that conform to the feet, but also run a tad on the narrow side. I ordered these for my daughters and all of the younger dancers I teach because the shoes didn't have the drawstring in the front (if you've ever taught or dressed little ones you know that bow never stays tied and wastes a lot of class time retying them). All the dancers also needed to be ordered 2 sizes larger for the correct fit.

do these come pre-sewn?
This specific item does come with the elastic pre-sewn to the shoe. It has a criss cross style across the instep in the shoe. - DDS Customer Service (09/03/2015)
