My students and parents love this shoe - there are not strings to deal with for the little ones and they are a split sole which is bonus.

Our new beginners ballet shoe!
by: RodzDanceStudio - 10/05/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
We had beed buying the T1000C Child Full Sole Leather Ballet Shoe & T2700 Split Sole Leather Ballet Shoe as our standard shoes for our beginner ballet students but decided to switch our younger students to a split sole as well. We were going to order the T2700C when we saw these ballet shoes had just been released. And WOW! Though I myself would not wear these or let my advanced students wear them, they are perfect for beginner students! The neoprene insert provides a more comfortable fit, and extended fit time, and the elastic band instead of the drawstring closure provided a more secure and comfortable fit, and a cleaner look. The only draw back (and i've noticed this is ALL leather split sole shoes) is that it does NOT come in black. We do have male ballerinas at our studio and unfortunately had to resort to buying them from Revolution since they offer a leather split sole neoprene arch in black. The revolution ones are more expensive and wish we could get them here, but overall AMAZING product for beginner students.

Narrow, Neoprene not same as jazz styles
by: Tegan - 12/29/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
I love a neoprene arch jazz shoe. They hug and stretch so well. These are not nearly the same stretch, but are better than no neoprene at all. Around the ball of the foot does not taper out from the arch, so they are very snug. Time will tell if they mold to the foot well. For those chubby kiddo feet, not the easiest shoe to fit. I ordered thinking the neo would help, but the narrow toe area makes it more difficult.

perfect!
by: mominOK - 11/06/2014
Comfort:
Perfect shoe! My 6yr old wears an 11 street shoe, so I ordered a 12 to make sure for growing room over the course of the year. The little extra toe room is perfect and the elastic all around makes sure they fit snug on the foot!

Too much material on the top of the shoe- can be loose fitting around the toes instead of fitting like a glove. The shoes seem very narrow this year, I am having to order a lot of wide shoes for my kids that don't really have wide feet.

Sturdy Feeling & Adorable
by: Niccole - 08/09/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
These ballet shoes are true to street shoe size and very cute looking. My daughter says they're also very comfortable. The construction of the shoe makes it look like they're very high quality and will last until she grows out of them.

Best shoes for young dancers!
by: balleteacher - 02/20/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
How many times does a young dancer say, "teacher can you tie my shoes?" In my littlest classes it seems every minute. I will not allow my young dancers to buy anything but these shoes from now on! They fit nicely (size up to get them right), they are comfortable, they show a nice point. And, did I mention there is no need for a drawstring that comes untied or out of the shoe. The elastic does a perfect job of holding the shoe in place without any need for a drawstring -- I even have dancers buy a little big so they have room to grow.

I got these shoes yesterday at a dance store and have already practiced in them. Very comfy and easy to pointe in them. My sister already had them and loves them! The only thing is that they run a bit big. I am normally a 6 1/2 in shoes but the 5 fit me just fine. Also, they don't have a string so you cant tighten them, but that's not a problem in my case. I recommend these shoes!

Best Children's Ballet Shoe
by: nlwyrick - 07/26/2012
Comfort:
Durability:
This is the second pair of these shoes I have ordered. So glad I discovered these! They fit the foot very well and have no drawstring! I have two daughters who dance and have bought many different shoes. These are the BEST! (They do run about 1/2 size small.)
