Got these size 4 adult ballet split sole slippers for my daughter who is a child's size 2 in street shoes... the size 4 is a smidge bigger than her current child's size 3 ballet slipper, but she's saving them for the next dance year!!!

I ordered these for my daughter after reading reviews. I ordered two sizes down, as so many people suggested. They were way too small. I ended up selling them to a friend and ordering her exact size. And they fit perfectly.

No string to tie, nice fit, but not for very narrow feet.
Would fit most well. Very comfortable, nice flexibility for pointing toes. My daughter loves them.

Sizing is off on these. We ordered 2.5 sizes down from street size as indicated. WAY to small. Maybe order 1 size down tops. Also, the pink is more of a brown pink.

Great price, very comfortable shoe.
i wear street shoe size 8.5 and 6.5 fits fine. love that there is no drawstring (my students always pull them too tight and then they hurt everyone).

We first ordered the size we thought my daughter would need, based on the chart. We ended up needing to go one size down. But now, they fit great and should be perfect for ballet class!

These are the ballet shoes my whole ballet class uses, and I personally like them. They are comfortable and show my arch well, but a bit wide. If you have a narrow foot, they will probably not fit your foot well. I got a size 6 and my street size is 7, so I would suggest ordering a size down.

My dancer has narrow feet and they were baggy looking in width but proper fit in length. Also where they sewed the elastic around the top bunches, and will give a blister eventually. Blochs elastic is much better made

The first pair I ordered were too large because I ordered the size based on what reviewers said rather than the recommendations given. The second pair is a much better fit, though I will probably order another size smaller when these wear out.
I have slightly wide feet, street size 8.5. My current shoes are size 6 and are not tight at all.
My daughter's feet are slightly narrower and longer than mine and she is also wearing these in a size 6. Hers fit a bit better than mine do.
I love the look of these shoes and the leather is very soft and comfy. If you get the right size I think you will love these shoes.

This shoe is one of the most simple ballet shoes I have ever had and I am absolutely in love with them. It comes with the elastic already sewn on and there are no strings to pull, tie, trip on, snap yourself with, or fuss with at all. The color of shoe I bought was the pink (I think that is the only one offered) and it is really perfect. It isn't too orange or white and it isn't a fluorescent pink at all. I wear these shoes for about an hour and a half per day and I've had them for 5 months and the leather hasn't started to wear out that much yet. There is a little on the bottom of the foot and the toes but it really doesn't look bad at all.

I can't tell you how durable they are, but they are nice shoes. They are a true pink and my daughter likes that it doesn't have a drawstring. I would recommend.

Just received these for my 9 yr old daughter. She wears a size 3 street shoe, and these run the same. True to size. Ordered her a size 3, and they fit perfect with room to grow.

As a former professional dancer and now pushing my daughter into dance (of course), I highly recommend these split sole with spandex insert ballet slippers. They are the most comfortable, functional , and foot conforming ever made! We keep coming back to buy these as she out - grows them, they do not wear out.
As a current Buyer in retail, I'm all about value and shopping around, so let me do the shopping for you on this one, you won't be disappointed.We have tried other styles ( esp. cheaper ones), that was just a waste of money. If you care about comfort, quality and performance and value - these are the ballet slippers for you.

Size is 1 and a half size smaller then your shoe size; e.g. my shoe size is 9.5; size 8 was the right size for me.
I like the color and design. Will try them on at my next class.

This neoprene pair of Theatricals shoes are nice. I generally wear the Bloch Adult pro elastic canvas shoes with the elastic all the way around, but I thought I'd try these.
Super soft leather, they feel great on. They also do not have a drawstring, and the elastic runs all the way around the foot, for a snug fit with no gaps. These are a little baggy on the sides for me, nothing too ugly, but I have a narrow foot.
I wear a size 8.5/9 street shoe, and these are a 7 and fit snug.
My other Theatricals canvas split sole shoes are a 6.5 and fit perfect, so the leather version runs slightly smaller than the canvas.
Good shoe for class, but I would recommend the Bloch Adult Pro Elastic as my all time fav ballet slipper.

I followed the recommendation to order 2 1/2 to 3 sizes smaller than street size for women, and the shoes were way to small! Wrong recommendation on the website. More like 1 size smaller maybe. I am calling today to return. Cannot say about durability because cannot even walk in these.

When i first got this shoe, i did not like the way the sole felt to dance on, but after wearing it a few times it worked in so now it's great! I am a teacher and dance almost every day and order lots of shoes for students. These are very durable and easy to get on. The sizing for adult sizes, however, needs to be adjusted on the website. it says 2.5 to 3 sizes smaller, however their catalog says 2 sizes smaller, which is correct. I wear a street shoe size 8 and a size 6 fits perfectly. Nice these are so inexpensive too. I have not ordered these for children yet, so do not know about the fit for kids, but overall have been very happy with the Theatricals brand of shoes DDS carries.

These ballet shoes seem of good quality, but run big and a little wide. The color of the leather is more pink than neutral, and the elastic seams take care of drawstrings to keep them snug.

Been dancing for years and had reconstructive surgery on one of my feet. Need my shoes to fit just right ;-) These shoes did the trick, and the elastic doesn't rub any of my scars the wrong way Yay!

These are the best ballet slippers I have ever worn!! They are very durable and comfortable. They fit just right and have No drawstring. They also support my arch very well. I always use Capezios but I'm never going back.

My daughter wears a 3 in street shoe so I ordered a size 2 and it is too small. I am now ordering a 3, fingers crossed they fit. They are beautiful and I love the support it offers. I danced for 16 years and would have loved these.
