Dependable classic

Fit: True to size
These tights last a long time on my very active dancers. We typically use them for six months to a year, which is astonishing to me. They are comfortable, keep their shape, and we love the adaptatoe styling. We were recently persuaded at a local store to try tights with the soft waist instead, which they are now carrying in lieu of this style (which they claimed is being discontinued). They slipped terribly, so my six year old was distracted in class, as they were in danger of creeping down very low and she felt the need to constantly hitch them up. Please, please continue to carry this Endura style with the actual waistband!

My daughter has had these tights 4 months now. She dances 4 days a week for 2.5 hours each and rotates between 2 pairs of these tights. So far no runs or problems.

Very durable!
by: Balletmom7 - 09/15/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
My daughter's four pairs of convertible tights have lasted 10 months now. No holes, no runs. I'm only buying her more now, because she has outgrown them. I ordered PINK (not ballet pink) and after about ten months, it has faded slightly and the feet part has grayed from sweat and dirt. I would highly recommend this brand and style of tights. They last for a very long time, hence the name "Endura." My daughter is 8 and has outgrown child medium size. Ordering her four child large to last her another ten months!

Poor Quality
by: shennings - 07/30/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
I have been a huge fan of these tights up until the last year. The quality on every pair we have bought in this time frame has been awful. Holes immediately appear with the first wear. Usually, it is a hole near the crotch area of the tights. This has happened on my three girls' tights ranging in the child sizes to mine in an adult size. I am very disappointed with having to buy a new pair for all of us constantly and hoping it's all a fluke and the new pair will be better. I am off to shop another brand now.

Ballet Pink is much darker than the required
by: SwellMel - 07/27/2015
I ordered Ballet Pink for my daughters class. I usually buy at a local store, but got an email with a discount and decided to try it. They are much to dark and I had to return. I'm guessing the 'regular pink' is the correct color, but beware if your teacher requires the light pink, do not order Ballet Pink.

Bad, Bad Color
by: Supermom - 11/24/2014
There's no guidelines to decide which color I wanted. I read all the reviews hoping to get some clue but it just happened that no one had commented on the info I was looking for. So, I hope this helps others.
I ordered the ballet pink. It is the most hideous color ever. It is a combination orange/neon pink. I have never seen anyone wear this color in class or performance ever.
If I had to do over again, I would have ordered PINK.
Now, I'm stuck with 2 pairs of non-returnable tights my daughter will never put on her body.
I think I would not order tights online in the future.

Good at Most for One Use
by: OctoberMama - 10/17/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
I first have to mention my 7 year old daughter is very easy on clothing... the first pair we bought were badly torn after one dance class, the second was torn in the crotch on arrival. Will not buy again until quality improves.

Drop in Quality
by: CindyLynn - 09/22/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
I have been ordering Bloch tights for my 10 year old since she was 4. I have always loved Bloch tights and their durability. Unfortunately, it seems the quality has greatly decreased. I order 3 pairs of tights for this upcoming dance season in August. One pair has ripped at the waist, one pair has a large hole in the thigh, and the other is suppose to be ballet pink, but is much darker than any other ballet pink we have ever had before. I'm so disappointed as we have always used them in the past.

Wrong Color and Too Fragile
by: Mickey - 08/29/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
I ordered 5 pairs of the Bloch adaptable toe tights in ballet pink, size CM and CL, for 2 of my daughters (age 8 and 10) because they have always been nice looking, comfortable, and reliable. Both of my girls are tall and thin with long legs and torsos and are picky about how their tights fit and feel. This is always the brand and type they want. The price for them at discount dance is at least $2 cheaper with the teacher discount.
I must have been mixed up because the color is way brighter and darker of a pink than any of their other ballet tights (which are mainly Bloch, but also include Capezio, Danskin, and other brands. They will not be able to wear these for performances because they stand apart from everyone else's typical subdued pink ballet tights, so I am planning to return them. Even if the mistake was mine, these should not be called "ballet pink." I've also noticed that every pair we own has snags to the point of large holes along the thigh. Uncertain why, I asked my girls if they were doing something to cause this. It was a mystery to them as well and never used to happen. I am drip drying them now instead of putting them through the dryer and am curious if doing so with a new batch will help avoid this problem.

Run Small
by: DanceNJ - 08/24/2014
Bloch has always been a reliable brand for us but these tights run short. My daughter falls well within the size requirements for CHM but when I took them out of the package they looked incredibly small. Tried them on and, yes, they were way too short.

Run short and color is off
by: JinDance05 - 08/10/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
We've always gone with Bloch tights because they wear very well and have a good fit. Unfortunately these tights not only run short in sizing, but the pink colors are confusing when ordering online. I ordered Ballet Pink thinking they would be the lighter pink we've always used--but these are a much darker pink. Not a big deal I thought because she could just use them for class each week and not for performances. But the problem is that she can't even pull them over her feet, they're just way too short. Too bad, because they're also not returnable.

Longer Lasting than Others
by: rejoicemom - 08/10/2014

These tights get more wear than other brands we have tried. My thin, 9-year-old, 60-lb, 55" tall daughter wears a CHM, which is a Child Medium.

Nice, durable tights
by: tlynn18 - 08/06/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
My 12 year old daughter used these tights the past year for dance and she danced 5 days per week. She used these tights for all of her classes, including pointe, and really liked them. I purchased 3 pair to alternate and they lasted most of the year. We just ordered new ones as the others have some runs in them and are worn. She is 5 ft and 75 lbs and we ordered the Child Large size. They fit perfectly. I machine wash them gentle and hang dry.

These run short
by: DaniT - 07/29/2013
Durability:
We love Bloch's Endura footed tights and they fit very well, so I assumed these would run similarly. NOPE! Much, much shorter. My daughter is 8 years old and tall for her age (4'9"), but the size large barely reach over her knees. They are much thinner, too, but I kind of expected that because the Enduras are very thick. We'll have to put these in the drawer to wait for little sister to grow into them. Too bad. :(

These tights are durable. Even if they snag, they don't run. Bought another brand of tights one time and they ran in a week. These will last and last. I only buy BLOCH!

Our go-to tights
by: meghann - 06/22/2013
Durability:
We discovered these tights two years ago and haven't looked back. Like the Endura tights from Bloch I use for my younger daughter, these are comfortable, fit well, and last a lot longer than the more expensive tights we've tried. I highly recommend them!
