"Product runs small" is an understatement! We always size up when dancers fall into the last number in the girth measurement. I had young students crying because the XSC was so tight, and their girth measurement was 37."

We purchased 5 of these leotards for our youngest ballet class - ages 4 and 5. Our dancers are all rather tiny, and based on the sizing chart we were very comfortable ordering size small. Our dancers could hardly get them on! The sizing runs quite small. However, with the amazing customer service we receive, we had replacements - a size bigger - the next week for class and our dancers are absolutely adorable. We could not be happier.

This is a very cute dress, but it runs very small, I have a very thin 6 year old who wears a size 4/5, and ordered the M (6/7 based on reviews), and it still is very small, there just isn't enough of the skirt/tutu to cover her bottom. Also the bottom of the leotard is not the same material as the top of the leotard and makes the whole outfit look funny, because the tutu doesn't cover it. I added more tulle to the tutu and it looks much better. This is definitely a one performance only outfit.

This will be tossed in the dress-up pile and not used for ballet class. It runs VERY small - I ordered the next size up and it still barely fit. As cute as it was, my daughter couldn't wait to take it off because it was so scratchy.

These costume run very small and have no stretch. Also scratchy to wear.

I bought like ten different tutu dresses for my 2 year old baby girl for Christmas 2013 and she absolutely loved the materials, the decorations and the colors. This was one was one of them. She looked so absolutely adorable. I am a former classically trained ballet dancer and I waited 38 years to have children, I had boy/girl twins, after that I had to wait another 2 years to dress up the baby girl as a ballerina. And that time finally came this Christmas in 2013. OMG!! She is so super cute in those tutus. Our Christmas card this year is a picture of all of us together and in it I am wearing MY tutu dress, tights and pointe slippers and she is also wearing one of her tutu dresses, tights and shoes. We are going to send this card to everyone we know!! I love this website!!

I ordered these for my "bitty ballet" class. The girls range in age from 3-5, but the majority are 4 years old. Some of my smallest dancers could not fit into a small and had to move up a size. Half of the class ended up needing a large. Only ONE of those girls #the three year old# actually fit into a small! And these are not large girls by any means. I would recommend these, but only for very young dancers #If your girls are 5 and 6, these probably won't fit#, and make sure you order a size up!

I ordered 20 of these and though they were very cute they were way too small. There is not a lot of stretch in the bodice so it is really hard to pull up over the children's hips. This is due to the non-stretch material in the front. The shoulder straps are not elasticized so they really dig into your shoulders. Very cute though.
