Inspired by the late ballet mistress, Toshie Kobayashi, the "Toshie" shoes are beautifully crafted to exude grace and simple elegance. Shoes feature a tapered box with a high vamp, smooth seamed toe, v-vamp and opening that lengthens the appearance of the foot, and an internal foam toe pad for added comfort. Perfect for dancers with longer toes and a higher instep.
These are great for class and rehearsals, they do take a while to break in, but once you do they stay in the 'perfect' stage longer that Russians or Grishkos. they are similar to Gaynors, without the plastic shank, at a fraction of the price.
