I have had 3 pairs of these shoes now and they last a long time. The only thing I don't like is the color of the "pink" shoes is a pinkish tan, not really pink. However, they are great for class, and last year for our dance show I needed black, so I didn't have to deal with the color issue. This year I bought a different brand for the show, but will probably keep those for performances and continue to do classes in these. I'm a size 8 and I wear a size 6 in these, which is pretty tight when I buy them, but they mold to your foot in 1-2 classes.
When they came, the straps were not attached in the criss cross pattern. I ordered these cause of the double straps and not just a single one. The straps need to be sewn into place now before my show. Is it just me? I thought they'd show up looking like the photo without me having to do any sewing. :/
I purchased two pairs of this shoe in adult size 2, they arrived and are so small they look like about child size 12. Appears size is UK size 2 which is 2 sizes smaller than US size 2. Wish this was indicated clearly on the page so I didn't have to now return everything. will only buy shoes from in person store from now on--though I haven't had trouble with sizing from this supplier before.
The heel cup on this ballet shoe was too short, so it felt like it was falling off just when I stood still and actually started falling off any time I moved. The leather and split sole seemed of good quality and the sizing seemed fine. I personally just don't care for a short or shallow heel cup because I feel like it constantly needs to be pulled up, even if it didn't move at that moment. I returned these to DDS.
I was not familiar with So Danca, but decided to try this shoe anyway. I absolutely love it! The forefoot and heel soles are very comfortable, no lumping at the forefoot, the heel padding is nice, and the shoe conforms to my arch perfectly. I have tapered toes, and this shoe molds perfectly to my foot. This is my favorite shoe to dance in! My only complaint is the color- they are a darker pink color- not the pretty rosy pink like many of the other shoes out there, but I will continue to wear these because they are more comfortable than the other leather split soles I have tried. I've been dancing in these for about 2 months 3 days a week on wood floors, and the pink hasn't rubbed off at the toe yet. For reference, I wear a 6.0 M street shoe (dress shoes), and the 4.0 B fits me perfectly.
This is my first experience of using products of this brand. I want to sy that slippers made promptly and looks very nice. They are comfortable and have all necessary elastics in order to fit and keep slippers on feet tightly.
I'm satisfied with this products. Thank you.
This shoe is made very well. As my daughter danced in them the leather formed more to her foot. She said they were comfy. They've also been very durable. The color is a little darker than other shoes, but what ballet shoe doesn't end up grey anyway? I would buy them again.
my son's feet are about 10" to 10.25" long. what size should we order for him? Thank you!
This shoe is a unisex shoe, but it's fit for women. Based on your sons street shoe size, you are going to want to order 2.5 to 3 sizes smaller as this shoe runs large. - DDS Customer Service (05/24/2014)

I'd like to buy So Danca leather ballet slippers (adult man# so I have some questions about this:
1. My foot size is 26 cm. What size will be correct for me? Where here in this site I can see tab with sizing?
2. I understand what is B, C, D width but can you clarify it in cm #B=?cm, C=?cm, D=?cm#?
3. What is method of international delivery here. I interested in cheap method #ordinary post).
26 CM would make you a womens size 10.0.
Sizing on this item does states to order 2.5-3 sizes smaller than street. ( your street size is 10)
B- Narrow width
D- Wide width
We do not have exact measurement on the width. If you normally do not need to purchase narrow or wide width in your street shoes, then I would suggest the C width. - DDS Customer Service (03/19/2013)
My shoe size is a 71/2 wide or 8 (M) and I want to be sure I order the right size. What size would y

I am interested in purchasing the Adult leather Split-Sole Ballet Slipper (sd10)
The sizing on this item states to order 2.5-3 sizes smaller. Since you are in between sizes a 5.5 would most likely be the best fit.
Sizing is only used as suggested fitting, not a gurantee. - DDS Customer Service (03/18/2013)
My street shoe size is a 9M and I ordered the 6.5B in the Adult Leather Split-Sole Ballet Slipper (SD10). As my review said, I returned this shoe because the heel cup was to short so it felt like it was falling off; I prefer a taller heel cup. The 6.5B fit fine, although I think the 6.5C probably would have been a bit better, the short heel cup notwithstanding. - Erinm (02/04/2014)
