Michelle 11/15/2016 Portland-me Age: 40 to 49 I am wearing 11 W, Sansha split sole canvas ballet slippers at this time. I wear a 101/2 running shoe that is average width, not narrow. My European shoes are usually size 41 unless they have pointed toes, sometimes in that case I wear a size 42 shoe. I like to have room in my toes in my canvas shoes so that I can use my feet. What size Sansha split sole canvas ballet shoe would you recommend if I am looking for more toe room? I am thinking of moving move to a 12.
Thank you for contacting us. The sizing for these shoes is similar to the Sansha split sole canvas shoes, the style S1C. If you wear a size 11 W on these shoes, we recommend you order the same on the S9C.- DDS Customer Service (11/18/2016)

Mary 11/11/2013 Puerto Rico Age: 35 to 44 The size chart converts a "5.5-6.0" size to a 7, but in the previous queston said that we shouls add approx 3 numbers to find a correct size to my children.
One of them is 6 woman, the other one is 2. I need to find some canvas asap! Please what size I need to choose?
For your child in the 2.0, you will first need to convert to adult sizing by adding two sizes. This would mean she is an adult 4.0. Since Sansha requires you follow their sizing chart, your child in the size 6.0 should order a size 7.0, and your child in the size 4.0 should order a size 5.0.
Not all ballet slippers will fit like this, so please make sure to pay attention to the suggested fitting on each item.
Again, this is the recommendation since we cannot guarantee sizing.- DDS Customer Service (11/14/2013)

DanceMomMcG 08/24/2013 Hello,
How would I correctly convert the adult shoe sizing shown here so as to order well fitting ballet slippers for our daughter? She is a size 2.5 to 3 in big kids' street shoe sizes and her foot tends to be wide at the top. I found some sizing conversion guidelines on a different website and those guidelines suggested subtracting 2 sizes from the women's shoe size to come up with the correct child's size for street shoes. Will that method work correctly to get the correct size in this particular ballet slipper? And will I still need to select the Wide width in order to get the best fit?
Thanks!
For a 2.5 or 3.0 you would first convert the shoe by adding 2. This would make her equivalent to an adult 4.5 or 5.0. However, Sansha runs on the small side so you would actually want to order a size 6.0 to have it be equivalent to that 4.5 or 5.0. Also, if your child does not regularly wear wide street shoes I would not recommend ordering a wide ballet shoe. Though we cannot guarantee sizing, that is our best recommendation.- DDS Customer Service (08/27/2013)
