These are great dance sneakers. Yes, please do use the size chart provided, it is true. I was concerned to purchase from the size chart provided because it seemed a different size than I would normally wear, but I did so and it was correct. They fit perfect, they're durable, nice eye appeal, and fun.

Good teaching shoe

The shoe fits like a glove. These shoes help support my feet while teaching hours of dance classes. The arch in the shoe helps me to retain my natural arch in my foot. The padding on the heel and the ball of the foot allow me to jump without pain in my feet. My shoes size is 8 1/2. I bought a pair of size 9. I'm happy I have these shoes.

Better support

For fitness, I dance in different styles. I used ballet shoes for a while then added Sansha jazz shoes (Moderno) for other types of dancing. Still I felt I needed more foot support, plus I like the look of sneakers. These were a good choice compared to other sites but Sansha sizing can be tricky for me. I have a wide size 8 foot. If shoes don't come in wide, I go up to 8.5. My Modernos are size 9M and just fit...could've used a 9.5 but alas, no half sizes. So when I ordered these sneakers I knew to follow the sizing recommendations and ordered the size 10 which fit perfectly. I've never had split sole sneakers and can say I love them. They bend easily but provide enough support to be comfortable during turns and jumps and kicks. My feet really like them. Got them in black and laces of course can be adjusted. Plenty of foot room for my wide feet.

Great Shoe for Men

I've been wearing a cross-training shoe for Zumba and Cardio Dance. I could not get the spin and slide I wanted and my knees were beginning to ache. Since there were very few options for men, I asked a professional dancer and family friend. She suggested the Blitz-3. I ordered my size according to the recommendation for my dress shoe size. The fit is perfect! My movements are now much easier. The sole absorbs shock well and my knees love it! It did take some time to adjust to the split sole.

Great shoe - love it!

I teach in these shoes and absolutely love them! Much less bulky than my old dance sneakers - let's your foot move well, gives a nice line with the flexible arch, and makes turning easier (even on Marley) since I have a better sense of the floor through these shoes. They look less like over-engineered "dance" sneakers and more like street shoes, too, which makes them much cuter in class and on stage.
I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 (regular width) and ordered size 9 - they fit perfectly - not tight but snug enough to dance hard.

Beware!

This pair of shoes is made of mesh so it's soft and comfortable. I was so ready to keep it because it's so light and flexible until I suddenly twisted my ankle while walking around with it. My feet are a little on the wide side so the mesh expands beyond the rubber sole of the shoe. I'm glad that happened to me while I was still trying on the shoe and not dancing. I don't know if this experience is only for me but you should beware too. Btw, the shoelaces are really short I can barely tie a knot.

Order same size as street shoe!

Many of the fitting charts on this website recommends getting a size larger for the Sansha sneakers. I'm a size 6 and got a 7 and it was too long for me. Size 6 fits. I'm not sure whether the sneakers are good because I ended up returning them.

Inadequate fitting chart

The fitting guide suggested to order one size larger than the street size; thus I ordered a size 8 for my friend who's normally a size 7. But when she tried it on, it was much too big for her feet. So now we have to send it back and exchange it for a size 7 anyway. If not for the inadequate fitting guide, we wouldn't have to go through all this trouble. I would suggest getting the same size as your regular street shoe.

Great shoe great price

I coach a college dance team and we had been using the Bloch Boost shoe but decided to try these. They are more flexible and the arch design is comfortable and supportive. They look great and provide great performance. We love the look and quality of this shoe and love the reasonable price!
