The Spin II incorporates stretch canvas, soft, wide elastic binding, and inner silicon to ensure a seamless fit. Half soles also feature wide elasticized binding along the top line and inner lined silicone to ensure a tight, non-slip fit. Outsole with ballet flat pleating allows toes to spread naturally and suede outsole allows for multiple turns with ease. The innovative fibers within the stretch canvas fabric will always recover to their natural shape. New and improved fit is designed to accommodate Bloch's "C" width.
While I am not quite in LOVE with these half soles, I do REALLY LIKE them. I typically wear these during my hour and a half long advanced contemporary class. First off, DO NOT order these according to the size chart on the DDS website, because it is incorrect. I have attached a photo of the Bloch Spin II packaging which these arrived in, which is the correct sizing chart. I am very glad to have ordered a large even though my foot is a 7 or 8 street shoe. If you're in between sizes like I am, order the size bigger. Remember, these are canvas, and won't stretch. The build of the shoe is awesome. The fabric is thick, durable, and comfortable, the elastics don't become over-stretched after prolonged use, and the color is a dark nude. I especially love the elastic around the base of the shoe, unlike the Bloch Eclipse. The sole is nice as well, and makes turns ten times easier when compared to FootUndeez. However, there are definitely some things to be improved on. While the silicon lining of the elastics is nice for keeping the shoe on your foot at the beginning of class, once you're warmed up and sweating, this gives absolutely no help, and the elastic may slip off or ned readjustment. Also once you're warmed up and sweating, sweat may possibly show through the top of the shoe fabric. Overall, I do enjoy wearing these shoes, but in some cases, they're more of a pain than a gain.
