These run very small. My daughter wears a size 7 women’s shoe so I ordered the Large and they are way too small. Order 2 sizes up!

I bought both the leather and canvas pair of these shoes. On a positive note I think the quality of this shoe is quite good! My daughter is 7.5 street shoe and according to the sizing chart I should of ordered a M. But based on some of the previous reviews that you need to size up.....I ordered the large. These shoes are extremely wide....yet don't seem to have the length. My daughters toes look a bit scrunched and the width of the shoe is way too big. I'm hoping they stretch in length. But will definitely not be used for competitions as they look sloppy! A very strange fit!

Like the shoes

I really like the Bloch 1/2 soles for their professional look, but honestly, I only saved $2.50 on them by purchasing from Discount Dance. Shipping was $2.19. I bought two pair of shoes, so total savings was $2.50. Honestly, I ordered because I did not have the time to find a place close to me at the time that sold the Bloch 1/2 sole in leather, nude.

Great "1/2 Shoe"

Have been ordering this shoe for a few years now. My girls use it for several of their classes. Runs very small - they wear a 3 or 4 in regular shoes and need an adult large.

Perfect shoe for performance!!!

I love these shoes for performance!!! They are so easy to turn in, and are very flattering; however, I ONLY love these shoes for performance. They are not durable at all! I had them for two weeks, dancing five hours a day, and they were completely demolished! Huge holes, the sole ripped off, and the lining inside bunched up! I would definitely NOT recommend these for class, but for dress rehearsals and performances, they're AMAZING.

My dd loved these new shoes. I am so happy that we ordered the size I thought she needed (M) AND the size larger. We ended up keeping the L and sending back the M. According to the sizing chart a L should fit street shoe size 7-9. My dd is a size 5-6. That's why i thought M would be perfect. And even the L, she says feel tight. I do think they'll stretch some seeing that they are leather.
These are a great price for the quality but just be aware that you probably should order one size larger than you normally would.

Great at first, but....

I purchased these turners for my 13 and 11 year old daughters, they instantly loved the fit, comfort, loved the rubber gripping on the straps, loves the felted lining, love the looks of them. I loved the affordable price...we thought we had found the perfect turner. However, I must say, these shoes have not held up well for either of my girls. They have made it around 4-5 months, they do get used twice a week, so maybe that's is a fair lifespan. Holes in the leather where their toes poked through, lining has hardened, dark discoloration on the leather, leather came detached from soles on the bottom.... we just tossed them in the trash. Other turners we have purchased and used the same amount did seem to last longer for us. Just bummed because there were elements about these we really like.

Look nice and work nice. Run a little small. My daughter wears 5.5 Bloch jazz shoe, and the Medium are a little small, but I think a large would be too big. It would be nice if they had a fourth size.

i really love these shoes. i was worried at first that the straps might slip off, but they stay up fine. i wear them for modern, jazz, and sometimes ballet. they're extremely durable and comfortable!
