I wear size 8-8.5 in street shoes. I got the size 9. I was like Cinderella's stepsister - fughedabboutit! Could hardly get my foot in them. They're also very narrow. I was also dismayed at the materials - very low quality. Returned for refund.

J Lee10/23/2018 Austin,TXGREAT LIGHTWEIGHT SHOE FOR ANY MOVEMENT THAT REQUIRES LATERAL MOVEMENT
I knew from previous purchases of this brand, and the comments on the site to order the shoes a couple size larger than typical - so no surprises there, but those not familiar should be forewarned. ..... I love the extreme lightweight of these shoes, while still being durable and super functional. Plus, I love the look of them too. They are great not only for dance movements, but also aerobics, sprinting type of sports (like tennis) etc. where you need arch support especially for lateral movements and be able to remain light on your feet too.

AJay05/29/2018QUALITY SNEAKER FROM BLOCH MY FAV DANCE SHOE LINE
the sneakers fit as expected. Your Bloch shoe size is different from street shoe sizing. This has ALWAYS been this way. I go a size up for all Bloch, sneakers, jazz, tap, ballet, and the fit is perfect. Years of experience tells me so.. others saying runs small, well it would, but you have to read the fit guide, and through experience, all Bloch, goes a size up ! simple. Lightweight, great flex in arch, allowing for articulation of foot. Spin spot is spot on, and comfortable heel support. Love them.
Fit: True to size Comfort:

Wish I had known these sneakers run small in size, as I have had no problems in the past always buying the same sized shoe. But the shoe looks to be of high quality and I look forward to using the pair that properly fits.

Fossegirl03/02/2015COMFORTABLE BUT SMALL SIZING
I'm glad that I read the reviews before purchasing ... the shoes themselves are very comfortable and I really enjoy the spinning support on the ball of the foot. However, the shoes run small - I needed 1 1/2 sizes larger than what I normally order. Other than that they are comfortable and a great buy.

Satisfiedsalsadancer01/11/2015COMFORTABLE! SPIN SPOT IS EXCELLENT FOR SPINS
I'm a Salsa Dancer and was looking for a sneaker that would allow me to perform spins easily. I've worn them several times at different venues and they're fantastic! I used to dance in regular (everyday) sneakers but found that performing multiple turns was almost impossible (too sticky, especially on non-wood floors). A few of my favorite leads have noticed the difference in my turns and really like it as well! I'm still adjusting to the spin spot!

ceeeveee12/23/2014LOVE THESE! ORDER 1.5 SIZES UP FOR THE B
I teach Zumba and spent months looking for the right shoe. I wear a 9.5 regularly - Bloch size 11 fits perfectly.
These shoes offer my foot the right amount of support and cushion without needing inserts. They're also super light. Pivots are a dream - no pull on the knees or hips at all.
When my feet and shins start to burn, I know it's time for a new pair. I can get between 6 and 8 months of use depending on how many classes I'm teaching/taking and on what kind of surface.

dramadance09/01/2012RUNS EXTREMELY SMALL
I cannot comment on the comfort or durability of this shoe because I have yet to order a size that fits. I'm on my 3rd try getting the right size. The sizing description says to get your street shoe size or 1/2 size larger. I got the 1/2 size larger, too small, sent it back, went a whole size larger and am sending those back today. So now I'm up to a size and a 1/2 larger. Hopefully, this will do the trick. It is, however, a good looking shoe.

L 05/04/2015 Age: 17 or under Can these be worn outside?
Could I wear these to dance, not just in dance?
We always discourage from wearing your dance shoes on the street. Teachers typically do not want shoes scratched on the street then scratching the dance floor. However, these have a hard rubber sole on the ball of the foot and the heel. The arch is exposed allowing to get wet. They would be ok to be worn on a dry, solid ground. - DDS Customer Service (06/01/2015)
Do you have pictures of the other colors available?
I'm interested in the purple "Criss Cross" dance sneaker by Bloch. It is difficult to tell whether the purple will work. Do you have a picture available?
The only thing that changes would be the colored straps shown in the picture. For more photos you are able to search directly on blochworld.com. - DDS Customer Service (09/12/2013)
nistori 08/13/2013 United States Age: 18 to 24 if im size 7 on street shoes what size should i ask for
The sizing recommendation for this shoe suggests ordering the same to a half size larger than your street shoe size. - DDS Customer Service (08/14/2013)
Go up 1.5 sizes. If I was size 7, I'd order an 8.5. - Ceeeveee (12/23/2014)
I ordered a full size larger than what I usually wear based on what I read in a review. The shoes fit very well! - Satisfiedsalsadancer (01/11/2015)
You would need size 8 1/2 at least (they run small) - Fossegirl (03/02/2015)
