Designed with 70% more metal than regular tap shoes, the Sync oxford-style lace up tap shoe by Bloch will provide a powerful sound, whether you're on stage or at practice. Features include a leather upper with reinforced eyelets, a pro-balance rubber pad attached at the ball of the foot for a non-slip sole, and a cushioned insole for shock absorption.
My daughter normally wears a size 6.5 shoe. All of her other tap shoes from here, the sizing is right on point. I had to return the first ones I ordered in a size 7. They were so small! She ended up fitting in a size 8!
We apologize for any inconvenience. Recommended sizing is 1-2 sizes larger than street shoe.
I ordered the next whole size up (6-7) in Bloch tap show and it was the same if not slightly smaller than her current shoe. So I ordered the next whole size up (8) and it fits but there isn’t much if any growing room. I’ve been frustrated with Bloch sizing differences.
My kids have always used BLOCH tap shoes and they have been great! We ordered a 7.5 for my son (the same size my daughter was wearing so we were confident in the sizing) the tap shoes were very narrow and small. Very unfortunate. Had to return.
We do apologize for any inconvenience. Suggested fitting for this style is to order 1-2 sizes larger than street size.
I understand that these are leather, but how flexible is the sole, does it have a split sole?
by: Suikerbossie (05/23/2019)
I am an experienced dancer, but not a tapper.
Hello, thank you for your inquiry! While these tap shoes are not a split sole, they are incredibly flexible. Typically, a true split sole would be recommended to an advanced tapper, so this product may be a good alternative. - DDS Customer Service (05/31/2019)
