Bloch's leather upper, leather sole tap shoe with 3/4 heel. The buckle is attached by elastic for a firmer fit and the taps are screwed on top of a resonating board. This is the best tap shoe I have ever had. I have had many shoes over the years and these are my favorite. They produce very nice sounds and are extremely comfortable and durable. I have had my pair for 3+ years and they have just broken in. My only complaint is that they are difficult to toe stand in because of the full sole, but once they mold to your feet it is not an issue. If you are looking for a fabulous tap shoe, buy this one!

VERY NICE
My daughter wears exactly a size 11.5 (just measured it last week) and that is what I ordered and it just fit but we are sending it back for the 12s.
She must have wide feet, as the strap was on the very last notch and the sides of the shoe rubbed her instep a little where the seam on the shoe is. (I bet it will be fine once they break in and with the 1/2 size bigger.)
These make a great sound and are beautiful shoes. It was hard to send them back for a different size.

Sizing was actually 1/2 size smaller than my daughter's street shoe size.

Children order same to .5 size larger than street size. Since these are not available in wide width you may want to go with the 1/2 size up. - DDS Customer Service (08/13/2020)

Why is there no sizing for girls after 13.5? My daughter needs a 1.5 (she currently wears a 1 in this shoe) and your sizes stop at 13.5 for girls and then start with a 4 for women's.
