NICE FIT BUT TIGHT ELASTIC
I bought these to compare against the Mariia MX stretch split sole. They are a good fit (I'm just under a 9 in street, and bought a 7 that fit nicely), and well made. The sole is wider than Mariia but quite thin. The elastic is uncomfortably tight, and I have small ankles. The upper stops closer to the toes than the Mariia, which doesn't matter to me, but may be important if you like a shoe with less coverage. I wish I could post pictures to illustrate. This might be considered more of a minimalist shoe. Ultimately, I bought the Mariias because they have a gloriously soft, velvet-like liner, appropriately tight elastic, thicker soles, and came in all-paper packaging (Bloch uses multilayer plastic bags).

Definately size down as recommended for a true fit. Soft and flexible. interior of shoe not durable if you take class daily. May last longer if you wear footed tights i usually dont. Great shoe for the price!

SOME OF COMFIEST!
These flats are so comfy. It doesn't have the lowest cut so if you have shorter toes like me the shoe doesn't look as good as it could if you are picky about that kind of thing. I recommend these to all my little kid students because they're thin and are easy to see their feet through and to tell when they need new shoes! They also let their little feel articulate so much better than in a leather shoe. They wear out a bud faster than a thicker canvas flat but they still last quite a bit!

GREAT DANCE SHOES
The Bloch shoes are generally great shoes. I recommended them to my friends, who loved them as much as I did. I loved this style of Stretch Canvas Ballet Shoes, as they are very logically designed and well made for dancing. The online suggestion for the size selection is very helpful.

MY FAVORITE FLAT SHOES
These are my favorite flat shoes. They are very soft and comfortable, and the shape is flattering to the arches. My only compliant is that they wear out in the big toe area more quickly than other styles I have had in the past.

NICE SHOE, THIN MATERIAL
This is a nice thin stretch canvas shoe. The fit is flattering and comfortable. Some may find the material too thin, making the feel of the floor too much like barefoot. Fine on a Marley surface but not likely to wear well on wood.

SIZING TOO UNRELIABLE TO ORDER WHERE YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURNS
I went by the sizing recommended for my daughter, who wears a women's 7 street shoe. So I ordered a 5, which is way too small, to the point of being painful. Now I have to pay to return them (exchanging is not an option). I'll be reordering from my typical online retailer, where I can get them here in 2 days and return them for free if the size doesn't work out.

BEAUTIFUL SHOE
Sizing chart is accurate. I wear a women's 9.5-10W and purchased a 7.5D. It fit very snug so if you're between sizes I would consider ordering two sizes smaller than the larger size. Loved how the shoe hugged my arch! Unfortunately the elastics were too tight so I will be returning. Beautiful shoe though!

DAUGHTER LOVES THESE SHOES
These fit my daughter's feet very well, and are tight up agaist her high arch. She wears a street shoe size 9.5, and a 6.5 in these. And they are very durable.

SIZING IS OFF
The description & some reviews said to order 2 sizes smaller, some reviews said doing that made them too small. My daughter wears a street 81/2 M, we ordered her a 7c. They were a little too small length wise and straps across were extremely too tight. She does have flat feet though. We have now reordered 7 1/2D and hoping they fit better. If in doubt of width or you have flat feet definitely go up in width. Hope someone finds this helpful trying to figure out sizing.

VERY COMFORTABLE!
I purchased these shoes because I had been looking for a pair of flesh tone ballet slippers for a while and they were a good price. I haven't been super successful with Bloch stretch canvas shoes in the past (I have a bunion and very wide feet, so they weren't super comfy) but I thought I'd give these a try anyway. I am pleasantly surprised with the generous width, as compared to Bloch shoes I've had in the past. The fabric is very soft and the style is very similar to the Capezio Hanami. I would definitely consider buying these again, but I would probably get a half size smaller because they do run a little larger than the other Bloch ballet slippers I've worn. For reference, I am a 6 in street shoes, and ordered a 4D in these. I could probably also wear a 3.5 because I prefer my shoes to be very snug.

We bought several Performa ballet shoes within the last few months and the quality was not the same. We were very disappointed. The shoes lasted less than a week. We are frequent buyers and it is the first time that this happens.

GREAT WITH A MINOR GLITCH
Superior quality but there is a tag stitched to the inside that is scratchy and I needed to trim the elastic on the inside as well. It was just a little too long so it was also scratching my foot. Easy fix on the elastic but not so easy on the tag.

PERFECT!
Use these for Irish Dance instead of Ghillies when we practice and I love them! They are very comfortable, fit beautifully, and the split sole makes the arch of the foot look nice! Will order more for sure!

VERY ATTRACTIVE AND SOFT
Make sure your order down/properly size. These do not come with elastic ties so if you’re used to pulling your elastic tight, you may want to order a size narrower than you typically get. These are a very soft shoe. I’m used to leather and canvas, so these were different for me. The material felt like a sock almost, and there is a padded heel... I haven’t decided how I like that aspect of the shoe yet. I am very happy with them though! They’re attractive on the foot, soft, and I love that there are no elastic strings.

THE COMFIEST PAIR OF DANCE SHOES I OWN
As a belly dancer, I've worked hard to find the best pair of ballet flats to fit my needs. Dancing barefoot isn't always easy on the knees during spins. I've tried several styles and brands and these Performas are the true "performers" of the bunch. The So Danca SD16 were nice too, but I didn't like how quickly they wore out.
Size wise, for an adult size 8 street size (medium width), a size 6C in this shoe is perfect. You may even be able to go with the B width if your toes are kind of narrow at the top. (I'm an avid Birkenstock wearer however so my toes are nice and spread out so I prefer the extra room in the C width.)

My daughter loves these shoes! Probably has been the sizing—they run bigger than a normal ballet shoe. Normally you go up a size when purchasing however these run true to street shoe size.

These ballet flats are pretty nice but they were slightly big. The size chat to maybe go up because they ran small but when I sized up half large they were a little too big so I recommend you get your actual size. Overall they are great for class.

LOVE THESE SHOES!!
I recently found out I'd be teaching ballet again after many years, so I found myself without a pair of ballet shoes! I also haven't purchased ballet shoes in so many years, so I didn't even know where to start. I found these, read reviews, and decided to take a chance and I am EXTREMELY pleased! They are so soft and comfortable, the elastic around the shoe really holds my foot in well, and the pre-sewn elastic cross straps fit very comfortably! I am a street size 7.5-8, pretty normal width, so I followed the recommended 2 size down and they fit perfectly! I ordered a 6.0C, and I'm so pleased. I can't wait to teach in my new shoes!

GREAT FOR HARD TO FIT FEET
My daughter is hard to fit for shoes, however, these fit both her very wide metatarsals and very narrow heel. (She wears a size 7 street shoe and wears a 5XXX in the Bloch European Balance pointe shoe.) We followed the fitting recommendations and ordered 5 in the canvas Performa. Since they have a sock-like stretch, she wears a B in width. They have plenty of stretch to be comfortable around the wide part of her foot while remaining narrow through her heel. This is the first canvas shoe she has been comfortable to dance in since other designs either squeezed her metatarsals too tight or bagged in the heel.

ADULTS - ORDER ACCORDING TO SIZING DIRECTIONS
I was nervous about ordering these shoes because there were so many different directions about sizing. I ended up following the sizing directions on the site, which are to order 2 sizes below your normal shoe size.
My street shoe size is 7.5 - 8 so I ordered a 6C (medium width). The shoes fit exactly as ballet shoes should!
