NICE SHOES
We followed the other reviewers' suggestions and sized down 2 sizes. My 16 year old daughter wears a 9 so we purchased the 7B for a snug (it will stretch out a bit) fit. We tried the 6.5B but that shoe was too short and had to be returned. The leather is nice and soft. It is a plus to have the straps already sewn as she doesn't need any special adjustment that a hand-sewn strap would provide.

GREAT FIRST PAIR OF SHOES
I just started ballet in college and decided to get a pair of shoes rather that continuing to go barefoot or use socks. After much research, these shoes were the ones I picked and they are great. I'm a size 8 and got a 5.5B pair and they fit perfectly.

SUPER SOFT LEATHER
I love these shoes! They are amazingly soft and comfortable. My only complaint would be that the color does wear off faster than I would like around the toes. But that's the nature of leather.

GREAT FIRST SHOES!
Absolutely loved this shoe! I am 17 and have just completed my first year of ballet and these held up beautifully from the first day. The leather is super soft and conforms very well to your feet. They are very durable and look just as great as the first day I wore them, I believe they will hold up for at the very least another year . Great for first timers and probably for anyone else!

My child is size street 4 (children).... what would the size for this shoe be?
For a child's size 4 you would first want to convert their size by adding 2. Then you would want to look at the fit of this exact shoe. The recommended fit for the shoe is to order approximately 2.5 sizes down from street shoe. That would mean you would subtract the 2.5 from the 6 to get a shoe size of 3.5. We cannot guarantee the exact fit of a shoe, since we are an on-line company. But that is the best recommended sizing off of a child's size 4.0. - DDS Customer Service (07/17/2013)
