    First dance shoe

My toddler wears a size ten shoe. What size ballet slipper should I get. I know he's about to transition into child sizes and will be a 4 or 4 1/2 pretty soon, but this seems like more complex sizing.

I would go a full size up. My daughter is wearing shoes in size 5.5-6. She is in between those sizes but getting closer to size 6. I ordered her first pair of ballet slippers in a size 6.5B, in case the slippers ran small and hoping to give her a little room to grow. They barely fit. I wish I would have gotten a size 7. I think they would have fit much better. She is going to wear them for now, but I think she will probably grow out of them within the next month or so. Go bigger, especially if he is on the verge of going up to the next size. - Littledancer (06/25/2014)
