I got these for my new pointe students. It was a hit and made their first sewing experience much simpler. The scissors was a big plus, and the magnetic bottom of the kit made it easy to keep track of the needles. Thank you!

Scissors Break

The little kit is ok. The magnet holds the needles in however the scissors, which were great to have, are so cheaply made that they break almost immediately. The needles and thread are just fine. I assume you pay 3 more dollars than the others because of the scissors but if they break then the most expensive sew kit does not have that added value.

Bought from dd and the thread was bad, needles were too thick and poor quality, scissors broke quickly, but the magnet worked i guess

This little kit is very convenient. I love the waxed thread and the magnet keeps everything in place. The scissors are quite small and a bit flimsy, so I substituted them with something from the craft store. Perfectly matches my Russian Pointe's!

Sad quality

I was excited to purchase this item after RP had it on its table at YAGP Jan 2015. The packaging is cute. However, the needles are too thick, thread is of poor quality and the small scissors are not cutting. Too bad so sad.

I bought this sewing kit from RP because i wore russians, however the needles were way, way too thick for my liking. And the little scissors that didn't work too well broke after barely using them...Maybe I can use the thread for something else but i recommend just using a thin needle and some dental floss! it works GREAT!
