I asked for this skirt in black for Christmas because I wanted something long and flowy to wear to classes with my company and to bring into rehearsal as well. I loved it at first, but then it started falling apart. The first skirt I got started coming apart around the hem and up where the elastic attaches to the top of the skirt. It frayed terribly and kept getting worse. Because of this, I called DD and they were very kind to send me another one for free. I was hoping that it was just a fluke and that it wouldn’t happen again, but I was wrong. The second skirt did the exact same thing, fraying and coming a part in the exact same places in just two weeks! I don’t mishandle my dance wear and I never washed it, and yet it only took two weeks to start falling a part. I would share pictures if possible, but I can’t figure out how to. I’m giving this skirt an overall rating of two stars only because customer service was so polite and sent me another one for free. I’m a long time customer of DD and I would recommend most of their products to people I know, but this skirt? Definitely not.

Fit: True to size

Beautiful, light and flowing. Love this skirt. The ribbons are elastic, so I can easily roll it up to make it shorter at any point.
