I need these for street shoes. Expertise level doesn’t allow for this.
For pumps, I can fit my toe box, or I can fit my heel, size matters not. Heel grip pads don’t help at all.
If a toe box is comfortable across, it’ll be too long there, and in walking, the heel area will flap, making tripping on a loose heel much mire likely.
I thought I’d try these pads: I had tried on several styles of shoe I wear with Ouch Pouches, but neither large nor medium, nor doubles effectively changed the fit. Foot heel and shoe heel parted company just the same.
With this pair, I achieved 90% better fit. Heel could be tighter, but then the pad would show above the toe box.
My toes are as comfy as if I was wearing Uggs, too.
I need to buy 2-4 more pairs!
I found these toe pads too tapered to be useful to me. My toes are tapered (big toe is the longest, and the rest get shorter from there), so the pads actually contoured quite nicely to the natural shape of my foot. However, I use toe pads primarily to keep a piece of loose lambswool in place under my shorter toes, to "square off" my foot. To use these toe pads that way, I'd have to put that lambswool outside of the toe pad. Not quite what I'm going for! But, may work better for different-shaped feet.
The pads do feel well made and would provide some blister protection.
I wear a 5.5 XX Grishko. Would recommend a medium in these toe pads for that size shoe.
I've always been a fan of lambs wool for pointes. There are not as good as the ones 10 years ago, but they're pretty good. I wish they were just a little thicker with more fluff padding.
These toe pads are amazing! I can go an entire three hour class without even needing to adjust them! They are super comfortable and soft, and they don't make your feet sweat as much as real lambs wool. I will definitely get these again.
These are wonderful! They are the most comfortable toe pads I have ever worn. I've had them for a few weeks now and I've worn them all through Nutcracker season and the lambs wool still has not flattened like some lambs wool toe pads do. The ball of my foot is pretty wide and the large fit me just fine. I would definitely recommend these!
Which size do you recommend for US 6 (adult female size)? I see Small, medium and large.

I currently use pillows for pointe toe pads, but the seam on the top is "cutting" into my big toe and cutting off circulation. Will these toe pads help?
These toe pads to have a seam as most do to create the correct shape. However, it would be a personal preference and fit as to if they will dig into your toes. We cannot guarantee a perfect fit on any product, as it depends on the dancer. - DDS Customer Service (10/12/2015)
