As with many dyed tutu/items the tulle had an odd fishy smell but it only took airing out for a few hours in the garage and it as fine. Fit is great and I was able to make it work as part of a costume. The dancer who is wearing this fits in CL in regular street clothes sizing, I went with the XSA size.

Excellent practice tutu. Highly recommend. The only thing is that it runs small so I would definitely order a size up. I am 5,4 and usually wear a small in dancewear but the medium fits the best.

Great for practice or recital

My daughter loves this tutu. We went by the size chart and it fits perfect. It is very good quality and durable. We've had this tutu for a year now and it still looks great. When she isn't using it, we store it in a tutu bag or hang it upside down, so it keeps it shape. We ordered it in red to give her dance wardrobe a splash of color.

I am a teacher, I bought several to use in rehearsals and discovered that the small size was very small for my students. Had to order medium for small dancers and large for average size dancers (who ordinarily would wear medium). The tulle flips up if the panty is too small. Lovely product though!

Perfect Practice Tutu

I bought this tutu to use to practice a variation for ballet competitions and ballet exams. When it first came, it was fairly wrinkled and we did have to steam out the wrinkles, however after, the tutu was perfect! The sizing was accurate and it was not too floppy or too stiff. In the past I have had trouble with the tutu being too big in diameter, being too wide, however, this tutu was the perfect diameter! I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a black platter tutu.

This is such a great product! It is true to size and it fits well! As soon as you take it out of the packaging and put it on, it sticks straight out and looks amazing. I was quite impressed by the professionalism of the tutu. Would definitely recommend.

Well-made, quality practice pancake tutu. I would definitely purchase it, again. You will need to air it out for a day or two. There is a slight odor due to production or storage in plastic bag. It goes away, no worries.

Great for price

I got a size medium even though in street clothes I wear a small and it fits perfectly. If you get the size that you wear in leotards it should fit great. If anyone needs to know the skirt is around 10 inches long. Also there is no wire in it so it is easy to take with you for intensives or any travel. It was a great purchase!

Great practice tutu

I just recently bought this tutu, and I love it. I'm a bit chubby and am curvier than your average dancer, so I was a bit concerned about the size, but the XL fits perfectly. The briefs are snug and secure without being too tight, and the tulle used is nice and stiff.
There are a few small issues, which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. First of all, it doesn't ship flat, it comes folded up in a bag, so it was a bit wrinkled when I first opened it. A minor annoyance, but if you're willing to take the time to steam it, you can straighten out the wrinkles fairly easily. The other issue is that this tutu is not tacked. I've only worn it a couple of times, and so far it's fine, but it is something to keep in mind, especially if you're going to use it for partnering work.
But ultimately, if you're willing to put in a little bit of time and effort to steam it and potentially tack it, it's a great tutu at a quite affordable price.

I ordered this tutu in black for ballet exams. I'm 5'3 100lbs and I ordered a size small, and it is perfect! I typically get leotard size small so I was very pleased when the small tutu fit me. When it came in, there were some wrinkes, however they came out with a steamer. It flops when you jump, however it sticks out pretty straight and it isn't droppy when resting.

I'm 5 ft 107 lbs and usually wear size M in most leotards. I ordered size M for this tutu and fits perfectly. Any smaller I would not have been able to pull up the briefs! The tutu sticks upwards at first but I just press it down little by little. Maybe I should try using a clothes steamer, there's a little bit of crinkled tulle at the tip of the skirt. The tulle layers are stiff and graduated so it looks very pretty.

We ordered an Adult XS in white. The circumference size of this tutu is perfect for a slight-framed tween who is in between the child and adult sizes. I steamed the tutu a little before wrapping as a Christmas present. It didn't take much for this tutu to fall into its right shape. This is my DD's favorite tutu!

I bought this tutu for a photo shoot I have coming up. I was reluctant to buy it because there were no reviews yet, but I decided to go through with it anyways. I bought it in white and I'm happy with the result. The waistband is very comfortable and the tutu as a whole looks durable and well made. I am 5'7" and around 130 pounds. I tend to jump between a small and a medium with ballet sizing, but after reading reviews on similar products I decided to order the medium and I'm glad I did! It fits really well but I'm sure the small would not have fit comfortably.
