Natalie's classical length child tutu features 4 layers and measures to 20" (Size S/I) and 24" (Size M/L). This tutu has an elastic waistband and is a performance necessity at an economical price. Leotard is not included
Looking at the picture I expected the skirts to be a bit softer and look better once it's on. It is stiff and not very flattering. I have wahsed and dried it and its a bit better. I think it'd rather use it under a costume that needs puffying up.
I ordered these tutus for a musical that my dancers are performing. They are very good quality for the price. I ordered all white tutus. They are layered very nicely with a big, durable waistband. I have a range of sizes that I needed but the S/M fit all my second through fourth graders and the M/L was right for the fifth and sixth graders. The waistband is very elastic so the sizing was based more on height. GREAT FIND!
I loved this as a skirt for my flower girls paired with a white leotard. When I pulled it out of the bag, I thought I would be disappointed but once I put it on the girls it looked really nice. The skirt has a nice band on the inside around the waist that I thought was perfect to keep the girls from itching. One girl complained a little about how tight the band was.
I am just wondering what the youngest age would be to be able to wear the tutu? Would a two year old be able to wear it?
Unfortunately these tutus are sized by clothing size and not age. The smallest size in this tutu is a size S/I which coorelates to a 4-7. That size will most likely be too large for a two year old, but children (even same age) have all different sizes. - DDS Customer Service (04/05/2013)
