Double Platinum's new high-tech line of sublimated costumes showcases stunning characters in fabrics that will withstand your washing machine, as well as your competitions! Sublimated screening binds the design into the fabric, so each design will last as long as the fabric itself. And with each look screen printed, no longer do you have to worry about pieces falling, breaking, or only lasting one competition. With a combination of leotards and unitards, find the character that is perfect for your individual or group performance, all season long.
Dazzle the crowd in this sublimated shorty unitard. Features include a screened-in rhinestone mock collar neckline, long sleeves, an all-over ombre screened-in print with solid black and mock rhinestone swirls, and an open back with clear neck clasp.
Like the other review, it did turn out to be a grey color, as well as the rhinestones not being real. HOWEVER that actually ended up being a plus for the girls who have done aerial silks for awhile. A majority of them also mentioned that it was the most comfortable material they'd used for costumes because of how stretchy is it. The 2 girls who received it in the child size did say the neck hole was slightly choking them, but after a little bit of stretching they were fine. Now for the reason why I listed it as runs large is because the girls who are wearing them have narrow hips and skinny legs so they do sag a bit in that area. Since it doesn't hinder them during their performance I would say they're still good.
My daughter was going to wear this costume for a solo piece. When we received it in the mail, we immediately noticed it looks nothing like the pictures. The “rhinestones” are just an image that is printed onto the fabric. It looks like the pixelation from the print is blown up and blurry. Also- the costume is gray, not black.
