Adult Long Sleeve Shorty Velvet Unitard

My daughter normally wears AM but this runs very small. She ended up fitting perfectly in AXL. The sleeves were very small as well in the medium. She needed a costume with good coverage at the top and this worked perfectly!

This is absolutely beautiful on stage! When I received it there was a minor separation of the lace from the neck but it was a simple fix not anything to worry about returning for. The sleeves are incredibly small however and just kinda inhibits full arm movement. By the 2nd show the sleeves started to loosen a bit so make sure you're able to ''break it in". Overall very happy with purchase😍

I bought this unitard thinking the silver dots were rhinestones. Nope. Glitter. I hate glitter. I barely wanted to touch it, much less try it on. I honestly didn't even try it on as I didn't want to have glitter on me for the next 100 years. Anyways, you have been warned, it's not rhinestones. It's glitter.

This unitard is really cute, but the arm sizing is all wrong. My daughter wears a medium. However after reading reviews, I purchased the large. The unitard body fit perfectly but the sleeves were extremely small. Because it was so cute, I returned the Large and purchased the XL. The arms on the XL were just as small, maybe smaller than the Large. My daughter complained that it was more than uncomfortable through the arms and shoulders, so I ended up returning the XL as well. My displeasure does not reflect on Discount Dance. They were great and shipped both purchases in a very timely manner.

This leotard is exactly the look I was going for for my senior competition team's contemporary piece. However, the arms run super tight so definitely go a size up. Also, be prepared for the lace to start pulling apart, especially at the zipper. 5 out of 6 leotards had a hole in the lace at the lower back after wearing it to two dress rehearsals and we have 4 competitions and a recital to get through! Yes they do ride up a bit, but that is pretty much the case with any leotard with this style bottom. In a nutshell, the look is great, the quality isn't. Its OK for what we paid for them.

We bought several of these for a performance. The lace parts are already developing holes and they have only been worn for 3 dress rehearsals. I can only imagine what they will be like after the 4 performances. They have not even been washed yet. This is a lot of money to spend on something that does not hold up for very long. However, they are beautiful onstage and none of the dancers have had any complaints outside of commenting that the shorts ride up a bit. If these costumes were durable they would be fantastic but it is very disappointing that they are coming apart so soon.

Runs small. Really nice, but unfortunately, the arms run extremely narrow! (I can't even get it over my arms to pull it up and zip it)!! I am only 5' 2" and weigh 118, and usually wear a size small. I saw on another review that the arms run small so I ordered a MEDIUM to compensate, but the arms are STILL way to narrow. So I have 2 choices. I can either return it, or lose a couple inches off of my arms!!! I love it so much, I decided to go with the latter. (Wish me luck! I'm going to need it).

I purchased this leotard for my daughter to wear during her solo at her 8th grade dance show. I read some other reviews about the size so I purchased a large and she normally wears medium in most clothes. It fits perfect! It is exactly what she was looking for and is excited to wear it! The leotard does seem a little fragile with the lace but that is to be expected in my view.

I got this unitard to wear to team rehearsals and contemporary class and got tons of compliments. It was so cute and everybody loved it. But, it had a few problems. First off, it came apart easily. I have sewn 2 holes already and the lace on the hands is unraveling. Also, it's very tight in the arms and shoulders. Because of this, I had to have my friends zip and unzip it every time. While the velvet makes it a little hotter to wear, its not to bad. Overall, it's a good outfit, but not great.

This is really a cute costume onstage and up close. The team complained of the neck being a little tight. The sizing is quite small. It's really made for those with thin arms and not a lot of fluff. If you are in question at all about sizing move up a size. The velvet was hot, but it's velvet. The shorts do ride up and have to be pulled down. The edges of the sleeves are beginning to unravel a bit after being worn 3 times. Good for the money paid.

I was debating if i should order a medium or a small then decided to order in size small & it fits perfect. I'm 5'2", weigh about 95 lbs. bust 32, waist 24, hips 35. it's hard to tell by looking @ the pix so I want to point it out. the entire back & the sleeves, too is see through lace, doesn't have nude fabric underneath to cover up your skin for you to wear a bra. the shorts do rise up as I move around I probably have to pull them down every other 8 counts so it could be annoying to some of you therefore, take that into consideration. I wear this to both my lyrical class & ballroom & it's comfortable. be sure to hand wash it and not throw it into the washer.

this is a magnificent unitard, but im not sure about its durability. i wore it once since i have to wait for christmas, but the sleeves are already starting to fall apart/ undone, i did put some clear nail polish on the sleeves so hopefully it wont do it anymore, it is a beautiful unitard though and it looks great, the collar part can get a bit uncomfortable, but most do
