Mirella's georgette chiffon pull-on skirt is a favorite for ballet class. The comfortable cotton waist band makes the skirt easy for young dancers to wear with no fuss. This beautifully tailored skirt falls to 8" in front and 10" in the back.
It looks good and feels good. I haven't danced in it yet but I have tried it on a few times now. My only annoyance with it is the side slit where it ties, even though it overlaps, the opening is very open. The A-line in the opening isn't very elegant and I can't tie it tighter otherwise the strings will overlap and not tie.
This skirt is a pretty color (we got it in green) and has a very soft waistband. It seems very durable - my daughter has been wearing it for a year now.
As a teacher, I must say this is a godsend. I will not tolerate students fidgeting with the ties on their skirts in class. All skirts should be pull-on, or there should be no skirts at all!
