Exceptional quality and remarkable style. This modern halter leotard features a contrasting solid color bodice and a mesh overlay on the front and back. Leotard also features a solid insert on the waist and an open back with two snap closures at the neck for easy on and off. Ballet leotard is unlined.
This is such a cute leotard, but it will only work for smaller dancers. I am 5'3, 150 lbs. I ordered an XL and although it did fit, the back was rolling. So if you have 0 back fat, this will work. But if you are anything like me, pass on this leotard. And I will say, I don't have that much back fat to start with.
I ordered this leotard in the tan and coral colors in a size small. It fit perfectly and the colors are gorgeous, but the top was so thin you could see every bump and any discoloration right through the layers. The layer under the mesh feels incredibly thin and although I love the look of this leo, I can't wear it out of modesty. I think I will try to sew a layer of lining into it so that I can wear it.
I'm pleased with the leo. Looks flattering on tall and a bigger chested dancer like myself. I got the peach/taupe colors so with a pretty thin lining it can be a bit revealing but I don't mind. This maybe the only drawback but it's not a deal breaker. Can't say much about durability because mine is relatively new but so far so good.
I loved this leo, but after only two wears the elastic in the mesh started to break. After ten wears this leo is completely ruined. I have other Mariia leos that I love, but this is not one of them. It also runs a little short for people with a longer torso.
I bought this for my daughter. the leotard is absolutely beautiful, I got it in the purple jade eggplant color. The colors are darker and more vivid than in pictures, and the style gorgeous. My daughter was so excited to wear this leotard, she fell in love the minute she saw it. She wore it for 2 one hour classes, and when she came home, I couldn't believe my eyes, the mesh was thinning and fraying at the seams, short threads coming out of it, the mesh was practically being ripped off the seams. this leotard is nowhere near tight or short on her, it fits her perfectly, and she is a petite girl, too. It looks like it's been worn 100 times, not just once. Needless to say, I'm very upset, I feel completely ripped off, because this leotard is definitely not cheap. To make matters worse, my kid likes it so much, she doesn't even want me to return it so she could wear it once more, or until it finally rips. I am extremely unhappy with this brand, it will be the first and last time I buy a Maria leotard, never again, and discount dance should stop selling this defective item.
We're so sorry that the quality of this leo wasn't up to our standards! This ripping is unacceptable. We have brought it up with the manufacturer and are currently addressing the construction. We'll contact you today to see how we can rectify the situation and help you get a new leo for your daughter. Thank you for sharing this!
This leo is so pretty. I bought the navy blue green color, and the mesh overlay is really elegant. My only complaint is that the neck pulls a little, and it may get a little uncomfortable by the end of class. But, in my opinion, this leo is totally worth it!
I have only worn this leo once, but I'm already in love. First off, the blue and green one looks exactly like the picture. The green part underneath the blue mesh is so pretty and flattering. I was worried about the leotard staying in place, but it didn't shift an inch during class. It's very form fitting, and tight enough to hold everything in. All my friends wanted to get one!
