Purchased this leo as one of several for my 13 year old daughter to use for a 5 week summer intensive. It has been such a favorite that she's worn it every day and I've washed it every day - usually on a hand wash cycle in the machine and line drying it. It still looks brand new. We ordered avocado and the edges are black do we haven't noticed any color bleeding. I've been washing it with light colors, including tights and a white dance skirt, and color has not bled onto the other items. Lastly, it's cut high on the leg making her legs look nice and long and the little built in strap that holds the back straps together keeps it from slipping off shoulders etc. Based on other reviews we ordered a size up and that was perfect.

I just love this leotard! This is probably my third one. I love the straps and how open it is in the back and I find it very comfortable to wear. I also prefer this material verses the cotton. It's my go to every time!

great for rehearsal

i got a M because I have other Mariia leotards in M, but this one runs a little smaller. and one of mine, which is also a M, it's the keyhole back like mesh and high neck one (I don't know the name) is a M but has lots of space in the bust. so I figured a M for this one would be fine. it's a little small, not bad but i definitely should've gotten a large. I got the arctic blue and charcoal. this one wasn't pictured but i looked through the other Mariia lets for reference.e very nice color.

I love this brand, but with each leotard i get, I become more frustrated. I have Mariia 3 leotards and they all are different in sizing. I have found out that colored and colored strap leotards with a black base tend to run smaller than the plain black leotards. I recently ordered the Alina style in black, size medium because i assumed that they all run a tad small. When it arrived, it was not only too big, but the stitching in the straps were completely undone and one was falling apart! I have the leotard with the mesh panel on the back and the mesh elastic started to show after the first wash. I am very disappointed with their products and hope that they take care with sewing them and eventually adjust the sizing.

fit not same as others

This is about a half size smaller than other styles of Mariia leos. Daughter fits all smalls perfectly and this one is tight in the straps and rides up the rear. It is pretty, but frustrated we need to pay shipping and reorder.

Purple dye runs like crazy-Disappointing

After both wearing and hand washing this leotard in the Purple/white combination I have to say I am very displeased with the amount that the color has rubbed off onto my own skin, or other external clothing I wear to warm up in. The purple has bled onto the white straps and given them a very pink hue as. Beautiful color. But not durable at all. Disappointing.

Very Pretty but Can Be Awkward

I love the look of this leo in pictures and in the mirror but the adjustable straps sometimes lie weird across my shoulder blades and frequently shift during dancing. However, it's helped me catch myself when my shoulders or port de bras are in the wrong position so this may be a plus for some. I thought the fit ran a bit small but as I've worn it more it seems to fit better. It's a little higher cut on the legs/butt than I would usually like and I'm not sure if that is the fit or just how it is made. I don't know if I would go up a size now that I'm comfortable with it. I think I would only if I knew that the cut of the legs would be different. For me my butt just has more of a tendency to stick out of the smalls than the other small leos I own...however, I do have a bit of a bubble butt. So if you're an hourglass figure with larger hips and bust or have a long torso I would go for a size up just to be safe. Note: I'm 5ft and 100lbs sized 33" x 24" x 35"

This leotard is a gorgeous and flattering cut! Fits according to sizing chart. It's comfortable and I don't have to adjust it during class. I would recommend this leotard to anyone who wants a cute, colorful, and stylish look!

I have just received this leo as a gift, and I have not yet been able to attend class in it, so I can't give a real good review on it's durability or anything. However it seems to be great quality. It is fully lined on the inside so there is no worries about it being see through. I am small busted so I can't say how it will work for the bigger busted gals. I also usually wear a medium for most leotards, but from reading the reviews of this leo and the others of this line I determined I should get a large, and I was right, the large fits perfect! So I would say to go a size up, especially if you have a long torso like myself. Overall it's a really cute leo and very flattering, and it feels that it will stay on as I dance!

Flattering, but watch the dye!

I ordered this leotard in Medium in the royal purple and white combo. The cut of the back is very flattering although it takes a bit to get used to as the straps rub right up against where your wing bones are. I love how deep the purple is, but after taking the leotard off for the first time I found the purple dye bled all over my skin. I am hoping after a good wash this will stop. Runs a little on the smaller side for a medium but overall very cute.
