Great skirt, I use it as a pull on, even though there are buttons. No messing with the ties. I have a longer torso, I'm 5'7" 135lbs, and most short skirts do not cover my tush when I wear at actual waist. This one is perfect. It covers, is an even hem all the way around and is a light silky chiffon. Very sheer, perfect for class. I have black and raspberry, both are amazing. I got the M/L size and it's perfect, not tight at the waist, just sits. I imagine the waist of the S/M might fit me better, however I was worried about the length. If you're tall, go for the M/L.
I bought two of these skirts...one in black the other in glacier. The colors and fabric were beautiful, but the fit was sub par. I am 5'6" and 159 lbs and got the XL. I was able to just shimmy into it without having to unbutton it, but once it was on the top kept flipping over which was very unflattering and uncomfortable. Also, the length was a little long for my taste. Overall, it just looked very awkward and the fit was uncomfortable....pretty material, though.
I ordered the Medium/Tall size and it was neither medium nor tall. This skirt was the exact opposite; small and short. It fit really tight so I wore it on the first button instead of the second but that just looked weird and was more revealing than I would have liked. Also it barely covered my butt and I'm only 5'4". I wish it would have fit because it had a lot of potential. I ended up returning it.
This skirt is big on me, so instead of unbuttoning it I just keep it buttoned all the time. Doing that makes it a great skirt for those times you have to quickly put on a skirt between classes, because the elastic waist band makes it easy to pull on, yet it still has the appearance of a wrap skirt opposed to other pull-on skirts. And aesthetically I just love the buttons :)
