It's always a gamble when you order clothing online. This one was a PERFECT fit for my slender son, I just had to hem up about 1". Otherwise the fit is perfect.and we were both very happy about the fabric as well. Very comfortable, cotton/poly blend fabric. it feels lie it is durable enough for machine wash/dry. However, for something like this, I always turn the garment inside out to machine wash, and line dry. I'd like to see if the same is offered in women's as these make perfect yoga/street pants and I'd like a pair. Very nice product.
The pants were too long and too thin to fit the average and will have to be altered to accommodate the dancers. It would make more sense for these to be available in both short and long and the sm-lg sizes are not as expected after measuring.
Snug only in the seat; shows your muscular form. My butt is small--these may fit like tights on guys who are larger than average here. The legs are loose but not baggy. The fabric looks elegant: no sheen, deep black, matte color. They have a very slight flare at the very bottom.. My inseam is 30 (short), and my size small had easily 3 extra inches in length, to fit you taller men. I had mine hemmed to fit. Great pants! Enhance your look and let you move freely.
By far the most comfortable pair of jazz pants I've ever worn. So comfortable to dance and train in. They make your behind look fantastic! Loungewear appropriate and I'd also like to add that they look marvelous on stage and field. Needs to be worn with dance belt underneath unless you want everyone to see your family jewels. My only disappointment is they ride up a lot when doing certain leaps and turns. Other than that, great pair of dancewear for your buck.
I bought these pants for my son. He is not happy that the picture does not depict accurately how flared they are in the bottom, while being tight at the top. He also feels they are too tight in the seat and he says they are not comfortable when wearing boxers, so he will be wearing compression shorts under them. The length is great, the material appears to be very durable, and it will meet our needs.
I see that pant sizes generally deal with waist measurements, but are there choices in length, too?

I have folks who are small/tall, large/short & any number of other combinations. It would be helpful to have varying leg lengths for the different girth sizes, if that's possible! Thanks.
This particular style does not offer different lengths - only sizes. We do offer a Capezio Jazz Pant that offers different lengths. (Style CC750S, CC750M, and CC750L ) for Short, Medium, and Long lengths. - DDS Customer Service (08/13/2013)
It came in I'm guessing a size 34ish in length. - The1man (08/30/2013)
I don't like it when my jazz pants flare at the bottom because it gets annoying for me. Do these go relatively straight through the bottom?
These pants are a wide but straight leg. They do not flare at the bottom. - DDS Customer Service (04/19/2013)
Yes, these are flared at the bottom. But does not look horrible. - Dancerguy024 (04/15/2014)
Technically, yes is the answer--they do have a very slight flare. It is virtually negligible, far less than pants actually shown and designated as flared. I took up the bottom 3 inches of my size small which were too long for my short, 30" inseam. This completely removed any flare, that's how slight it is. If you are tall, and leave the finished length as received, you will have an extremely slight flare, just over your shoes. - Musicmate (06/24/2014)
by: Do you have a men's tall jazz pant? (03/10/2013)
My son is 5'10", 155 lbs. The sizing chart for these pants says a Large is a size 10-12, and X-Large is a size 14...but the height range says 5'4" - 5'10". He outgrew kids sizing 14,16,18,20 a long time ago, because his legs are too long. He is thin, so is a Large going to be TALL enough, yet not too big in the waist?
I don't see a "Tall" size available for order.
Thanks for your help!
You may want to order a womens jazz pant if he is tall and slim. Try style CC750L, and see if this would be something that could work. - DDS Customer Service (03/11/2013)
I am 5' 9" 140lbs. 29" waist, short legs: 30" inseam. These jazz pants in size adult small fit perfectly in my waist, but I had to shorten the length by 3 inches. Sounds like your son is only a tad taller & heavier than I, and my best guess is mens small will fit him well in these jazz pants. - Musicmate (06/24/2014)
