    VERY Narrow

These shoes seemed okay - like they would get me through one class a week but maybe not hold up if I was going 3-4 times a week. I am a 7W street size, so I ordered size 7C and they were okay in length but very narrow. I could hardly even get my toes in the toe box! I sent them back and am afraid to order even D width b/c I think it will still be too narrow. I've been dancing for 26 years and never had to order a shoe wider than C width so these are pretty narrow!

I bought a pair of ballet shoes for my granddaughter at a discount (local) shoe store. They fit, but were made of a stiff man- made material & were very wide. When I read about Discount Dance's ballet shoes( and that they were made of leather) I decided to take a chance & order them. They are soft, fit much better, and are a wonderful bargain! Thank you for offering these to your customers!

if you plan to order, make sure you order them bigger. i ordered a size 9.5c and im a size 9 in regular shoes but they ended up fitting perfectly. at first i was unsure until they arrived and i tried them on. To my surprise they fit! The overall quality of the shoe is great!

My only problem was with shoe length. I used the sizing chart and took the suggestion of ordering street size, but this is not so. I suggest adding 1/2 a size for that form-fitting fit that's not too tight. My reorder has not yet come in, so I hope 1/2 size is enough. All else about the shoe was exactly as expected.

  • What does C or D indicate when ordering this ballet slipper?

by: Pam (07/16/2014 - Scappoose, Or 97056, Usa)

This is in reference to the width of the shoe. C would be more of an average width, while D would be cut a bit wider.
