I recently ordered this Leo just because I wanted a plain looking red short sleeve. From the moment I first put it on, I loved it. It is the best fitting leotard I own! It is now my favorite. The leg line is perfect because it is not too high but high enough to accent my long legs.
This is my go-to leo. It is a perfect fit for me in size L. I've bought one in every color available! I'm on the petite side though, at 5'3", with a 34F bust, around 160 pounds. There seems to be plenty of support in this leo for a bigger busted dancer. Its not sheer at all on either the front or the back.
This is the perfect simple black leo for me. Being short (5'1"), I was looking for something to fit my shorter torso, and this does it. It is soft, has worn well, not faded or pilled. It doesn't ride up at all when I wear it, and feels so comfy and natural. The only reason I can't give it five stars is because the shelf lining in the front is useless. I have to wear a regular bra underneath (sports bra isn't covered by the leo completely). For me, I don't mind this, though, because there are so many other positives.
Good sturdy leotard. I am a university student studying dance and have several technique classes a day, so I need a leotard with longevity. The only problem is it is not quite long enough. I usually wear a large (I am 5'8") and had to return it for the X-large, and it is still the tiniest bit too short.
The leotard feels nice, however I will never get to experience wearing it because it's too small. I am about 5'9'' and weigh 110 lbs and the XL did not fit me, so if you're built like me, this one will be way too short for you.
I just received this leotard in black for my Ballet class in college this semester. I've danced my whole life but I haven't had to wear a leotard in years! So after careful searching, I decided to order this leo. I'm very large chested (36D to be precise) so I needed a leo where I could wear a bra and feel supported. I ordered the Large and the XL because I wasn't sure of the sizing. I ended up keeping the XL because the Large didn't fit over my chest. I definitely recommend this if you want comfy coverage for the curvier dancer! I'm very pleased!
This is a very basic leotard, perfect if you are looking for something modest and does not reveal too much. The lavender color, which I bought, is quite beautiful. The sizing is much larger than that of the "V" Neck Cap Sleeve Leotard by the same brand, and I find that the waist is pretty broad, making me look larger than I am. Personally, I would like the front and back to be a bit lower and the whole leotard to be more form-fitting. But that's just me. This leotard has its many merits, especially if you are looking for more coverage or if you have a long torso. The shelf bra is not bad - made of cotton, which gives excellent coverage and overall support. But it is just a tad short in my opinion (and I'm an "A"). If you go with a S with Bloch's "V" neck style, a petite size might be a better bet.
OK, so I ordered this leo, just wanting something plain and modest for pas de deux class; not thinking I would actually like it. But when I got this leo and tried it on, I was pleasantly surprised! It fits and looks great on me!
But FYI, the front is lower, at least on me, than on the model, (but that might just be my lack of a chest -- size A). The jazz cut leg line is not very high cut, not as bad as in the pic!
I definitely recommend it =)
